This provider/office lacks good communication with patients. I went through a treatment that caused me a lot of pain unnecessarily because they failed to communicate that I had to take pain medicine before hand. Also, when asking for guidance over messages, there is a lot of back and forth to obtain a full answer.

I haven’t seen an OBGYN in 10 years. I came to establish care since moving 3 years ago and was so pleased with the service I received from the moment I walked into the practice. Everyone was friendly and made me feel extremely comfortable. Dr. Dela Merced addressed all issues I came in for and helped educate me on the decisions made and future treatments. I really don’t like gynecological annual exams, and never have looked forward to the appointment. So it is so important that the doctor has a good bedside manner. Dr. Dela Merced is more than just a good doctor. She is exceptional. She immediately put me at ease, and helped me to relax. She took time to listen and explain my options in dealing with post menopausal conditions. It is a bit of a drive to see her, but I will continue using her as my doctor as long as she is available.

Best doctor, let alone OBGYN, there is. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. Her staff is amazing, always friendly and professional. When I call or send a message through the portal, responses are expedient and solution-oriented. During our visits, Dr. Merced sits down, looks me in the eyes and initiates real conversation. She gets to know you, does her homework on your history and concerns and asks the right questions. She answers questions and explains things to ensure understanding, with the goal of improving the quality of life of her patients. She has a warm and caring bedside manner and never makes you feel rushed. She is intelligent, thoughtful, gentle and absolutely genuine. Thanks to Dr. Merced, and her determination to help me, the specialist she referred me to discovered a prior, improperly performed surgery that is now going to be corrected. I am so lucky to have found her after over a decade of being dismissed by a multitude of other Gyns for a chronic problem that I was told was related to getting older. Thank you, Dr. Merced, from the bottom of my heart, for caring.
