If I could give 0 stars I would. My mother was brought to the emergency room despite telling EMTs that she'll be left to suffer due to experience and oh my God. It was such an awful experience.

She suffered for hours with pain. The nurse who drew blood didn't listen to my mother when she told them that her left arm was the good arm to use and decided to draw blood where they wanted. They couldn't find the vein and kept moving the needle around until they had to use the other arm, her good arm. Her arm is badly bruised and swollen at the injection site. They literally hurt her because they couldn't be bothered to listen to her.

Next, the "doctor" came in and refused to give my mother the medication she needed to help her manage the pain, so after 15 minutes, she was in agony again.

Another "doctor" came in to see her, said her CT was normal so she was being discharged despite still being in pain still and told her "I can't give you any more medication, sorry" after only giving her ONE dose that only lasted 15 minutes because both doctors refused to give her the medication she needed despite being told what medication worked and needed.

If you have an emergency, DO NOT come here. The staff will NOT listen to you and do what they want even when you advocate for yourself. They will leave you looking like you got assaulted because they are ruthless when handling patients.

10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND!

I absolutely love this hospital for pediatric care. Joseph John is AMAZING and very wise beyond words I love seeing him walk in because I know I’m going to get valuable truthful information when it comes to my children’s care and health. He’s super helpful, very informative and answers any question you have with detail so you’re not leaving the hospital not knowing exactly step by step what to do for your kids when you get home. I wish every doctor/nurse was like him.

I hate that I have to leave a review about my child’s father’s death.
My child’s father, also my husband was admitted to this hospital Dec 2024. When he was admitted to this hospital, numerous family members including myself told medical personnel that he had medical history and not a single person believed us. They kept telling us we didn’t know what we’re talking about, this hospital failed him. They didn’t give him the adequate care in a timely manner. Please take your loved ones to a different hospital!

I have been to this Hospital many times over the years. I have never suggest anyone go here. However it seems that two years ago and large investment was made into this hospital and the service is on par with some of the other fantastic hospitals in South Florida. The weight to be seen by a doctor was very short, the nurses were very caring and attentive to the patient's needs. Everyone was very accommodating from him today to the technicians. I was highly recommend this Hospital.

If you have a real medical emergency don't come here. Waiting room is unsanitary. They have you waiting for hours in the hallway. People are vomiting next to you, bloody napkins and trash on the floor. I get it. it's an emergency room but this is disgusting.

***after waiting 2 hours I finally got a bed. The nurse named JJ was really nice and helpful. He is running around like a chicken with his head off tending to every patient. This hospital is really understaffed and the little staff that is here is overworked. I overheard a conversation from a nurse saying how she hasn't even had a lunch break. While the service could be so much better, I feel bad for the staff that has to endure this day to day. During this time i have to remember its important to have grace and empathy. While I still dont recommend coming here, if you do just be a little patient.

My mom was there on the 3 floor for 3 days the care was amazing specially the therapy team and the Nurse Ashely was excellent. That was a old woman patient Beside us with with mental health and the team of nurse and doctors were very careful and lovely with her and her family.

I recommend this hospital fir great care

I recently visited Jackson North Hospital and was deeply disappointed with their visiting restrictions. Limiting visiting hours to 8 AM - 8 PM and allowing only two visitors at a time feels unnecessarily harsh. Hospitals are supposed to provide a comforting environment for patients, especially when they are at their lowest and need the support of family and friends to uplift their spirits.

Instead, this policy makes the hospital feel more like a correctional facility than a place of healing and care. I urge the administration to reconsider these rules and allow more flexibility for visitors to support their loved ones during difficult times. Compassion and connection are vital parts of the healing process.

My birth plan was to give birth at Magnolia Birth Center but unfortunately my blood pressure was too high and so i was admitted into Jackson North. By the time I checked in which was less than 10 min I was already 8 cm. Things moved very quickly. I arrived at 3pm and gave birth by 5:02 pm. Staff was very friendly, cordial and encouraging. One nurse stood out among the rest, Nurse Elda Sanon. She made my stay there comforting especially since I couldn't be released (bp). I have to say all staff members were so kind and showed empathy and concern for both my baby and I. Although it was outside of my birth plans, Im grateful to the staff assigned to me.
