Went to Ivy Creek in July with an unidentified illness. Flu, Covid and Strep tests were negative. The NP looked at my throat and ears and just said " The tests were negative" That was it. She didnt have a stethoscope with her, so no listening for pneumonia. Never touched my throat to check for swollen glands. Just offered me some antibiotics and sent me on my way. I have a credit there from years ago, but was told that it is an "insurance credit". So my insurance overpaid, and they are just holding the credit. It's only $10 so I guess they will keep it forever, because I will not be going back there, unless I need a band-aid and Walmart is closed.

I do not recommend this place. First of all, when I originally went in, it was about 11:18am, and I was asked to come back two hours later because “our service provider has to be somewhere at 12, so could you come back at 1?” I must’ve looked visibly perturbed, but I agreed. IF YOUR ENTIRE BUSINESS DEPENDS ON ONE SPECIFIC SERVICE, MAYBE THERE SHOULD BE SOMEONE AT THE BUSINESS TO PROVIDE THAT SERVICE AT ALL TIMES, especially when it comes to medical issues.
At around noon, my wife called me and told me she didn’t feel well and was leaving work so we’d go back together. We both went in around 2pm and were checked in, didn’t wait long, and were sent to triage. They swabbed my nose and throat and only swabbed my wife’s nose. They asked if we’d like to be tested for Covid and the flu. We agreed to both, because you’d assume we’d like to know what’s wrong with us, correct?
We were moved into an exam room for about 10-15 min and when the doctor came in (she was accompanied by a student doctor as well) she informed me that I tested positive for Covid and my wife didn’t test positive. She assumed that’s what my wife had since we were in the same household, yet I have had Covid before (back in 2021) yet my wife, living in the same household, never got Covid. The doctor prescribed us a ZPack each (as well as a cough syrup, an inhaler, baby aspirin, and Pepcid) to prevent bronchitis or pneumonia, nausea, etc and we started taking that immediately.
A week later, my symptoms have stopped for the most part, yet my wife has only gotten more sick. My wife called them back to see if there was something else she could do since she was never actually diagnosed with anything and we’re not even sure if she was tested for anything besides Covid since I was diagnosed. They didn’t even swab her throat. My wife spoke to the receptionist and she relayed her symptoms, at which point the receptionist said my wife could come back in, but my wife argued that she shouldn’t have to pay another co-lay since she was never properly diagnosed, and was told that the doctor would be calling her back.
Hours later we received a text that the doctor had called in a prescription of Doxycycline to our pharmacy. Had the doctor spoke to my wife (like the receptionist said she would) she’d know my wife’s symptoms and also know that Doxycycline makes my wife nautious and isn’t an option.
This medical treatment facility is a joke. I will never go there again. I’ve heard horror stories of the hospital in this town and would actually prefer it to this place. I’ll be making a 20-30 min drive to another facility in Wetumpka or Montgomery in the case that I become ill because I will NEVER give another cent to this establishment. I’m disgusted.

I'm very thankful for Ivy Creek. They've always been over the top helpful, nice, courteous and friendly with me and my family. We have never had an issue with staff or physicians, they've been top notch, and to be honest, they have done FAR more than any doctors I've had in the past. Not one other doctor have I ever spoke with on a Sunday night about a potentially serious problem.....she talked me right through it and helped me through the night. For that, (and many other reasons), they will be my go-to for Healthcare.

*people that write negative reviews generally only write negative reviews. Also, even if the issue was resolved, they rarely retract their complaint. Please be mindful of that when reading other reviews, not just here, but elsewhere too.

I went on 2/28/24. My left leg was swollen and in pain. When the doctor came in she ask what was the problem I let her know about my leg she never looked at it just said she was going to give me a shot and some medication. I pull my pants leg up to show her that’s when she decided to send me for an ultrasound because of the discoloration of my leg. This is my second time visiting this place. The first time it was because of knee pain. She didn’t look at my leg then either. I don’t understand how you can just give a person a shot and medication with out checking them out. I was not happy with their service at all

Terrible service. Waist of time and money. Made an appointment. Waited 1.5 hour after appointment scheduled time. The doctor or nurse practitioner who looked at me didn't made lab work. Promised to send prescription to a pharmacy, make an appointment for an ultrasound. Told me not to eat anything next day for ultrasound. She didn't do anything as she promised. I called the office twice next day with out any results. I don't recommend this place.

This place is unbelievable! It’s obvious that the front desk employees absolutely hate their job! Upon arrival at the front desk, the receptionists have this dreaded look on their faces, as if to say, we really don’t want to take care of you! They will tell you that they don’t take walk ins, only appointments, then they will tell you that the appointment schedule is all booked up! So many people in Tallassee are complaining about this type of behavior! I truly hope that I never have to go back to Tallassee Ivy Creek!!

I had an issue with a throbbing toe and my doctor could not see me for another two days. This location was recommended to me by a coworker, so I decided to give it a try. I'm having a hard time finding a respectable and good quality doctor and staff. I had a great visit at this location. Every staff member was very nice and professional from the front office to the nurses. Saw nurse practitioner Elizabeth. She was so helpful and informative not to mention sweet as can be. I did not have to wait very long. I almost didn't want to post this because I wanted to keep this great secret to myself, but we all deserve to receive quality healthcare. Go give them a try.
