I give Dr. Thoele 5 Stars..he is beyond wonderful. His Staff I give 1 Star and is a different story. Not only are they unprofessional but non-caring and non-accomodating. Dr. Thoele has several Assistants, however not ONE could assist with removing my contacts, which sometimes is difficult for me since having a Stroke. Prior to leaving, I made a simple request for a spare pair of contacts, which previous Optometrist Offices have always given. I was told they would have to order them and would call when they came in. That was 2 weeks ago. No one has ever contacted me. I have called his Staff on 3 occasions. Each time I have been given a different story. Story #1: " They have been ordered we'll call when they come in." Story#2: "They should be in the 1st part of the (this) week." Story#3: "We are not sure when they are coming in. However, you should not need another pair since the contacts you have are good for 30 days." Hopefully that will be the case but who knows? I even offered to pay for the contact lenses if that was their issue. In any event, having a Staff of this nature is very unfortunate for such a great Optometrist.

I give 1 star because I had to. Horrible experience, glasses were wrong and they refused fix them until I wore them. I spent 4 days leaving work early because of the headaches. They took them and when I returned they were so bad I couldn't even explain what was wrong besides I can't see anything and I feel cross eyed. They acted like it was just me and nothing was wrong with glasses. I asked about a refund, they called me and said they would refund it when I asked about the frames since my insurance had paid for them they hung up on me. They were rude and nasty when I showed back up at office. They sent part of my refund to someone else never got it , I did get frames but they got paid twice for them since the kept part of refund.

Everyone here was so nice! Even though my boyfriend and I hadn’t been to eye doctor in 10 years! These people never judged us, and from the moment we walked in the door, made us feel welcome! They definitely have our business now and in the future!

Yearly eye exam & tests. Staff explained the exam & test results throughly. Along with a referral to a specialist for cataract surgery.
Will follow up with eye Dr. afterwords and continue to visit with International Eyecare Center in Mt. Zion IL.

This is the best place I have ever went to for glasses! Dr Ryan was very straight forward and kind. Even with Medicare I still got more choices of frames than anywhere I have ever been. Around 100 I believe and Brooke was very helpful and kind when I was waiting for my husband and trying on frames. I went the 19th and got a text that they were ready the 23rd! So fast! I'm very impressed!
