Our experience at Inova Fairfax for our daughter’s birth was nothing short of amazing. The entire labor and delivery team provided outstanding care, making us feel supported every step of the way.

A special thank you to Karla and Han from the night shift—two incredible nurses who went above and beyond with their kindness, patience, and attentiveness. Their reassurance and care made a huge difference during such an important moment.

The doctors were also fantastic—professional, compassionate, and highly skilled. The hospital itself was clean, well-organized, and provided everything needed for a comfortable stay.

My experience at Inova Fairfax Women’s Hospital was truly a 10/10. The nurses from triage, delivery, and postpartum were amazing. They all communicated so well with me and truly advocated for me. They kept me informed throughout the process, eased my anxiety, and provided support. Bailey in triage was amazing. She was so caring and advocated for my admission. Fran was the BEST person to have during the delivery process. She was so knowledgeable and beyond nice. I truly could never thank her enough for all that she did! She will never know how grateful I am that I was assigned to be her patient. She made my first ever epidural, laboring, delivery process amazing! She explained everything and just her presence got rid of any anxiety I was having. She aided my family in knowing their role and ensured that were informed of the process as well. In postpartum I had 2 nurses names Jen and Chiquet (sorry if I mis-spelled), but they all were also GREAT. They took such good care of me in my most vulnerable state. I truly had the best nurses and care team! Thank you all again.

I never thought I would give birth and want to re-live it again! The experience I had at Inova Women’s Hospital was beyond my wildest expectations. I delivered my baby 10 weeks ago (January 2023). They were top notch every step of the way. The nursing team was phenomenal (I had more nurses than I could count take care of me and my newborn during the 3 days we were there)— they were attentive, caring, and highly skilled. There wasn’t one nursing professional who didn’t make me feel like I was their only patient. The anesthesiologist who I saw at 1am in the morning made me feel so comfortable, talked through my concerns and acted like they were a friend visiting our room. It is obvious that this hospital has high standards for delivering EXCEPTIONAL patient care. The delivery and post-delivery rooms were clinically clean and spotless. You can also tell by the way the nurses/doctors used their gloves, masks, hand sanitizer that this hospital has deliberate protocols for meeting sanitation standards. All in all, I am so thankful for my experience at Inova Women’s Hospital and will continue to select Inova for my care.

My name is Tarsha Morgan! I had surgery there yesterday May 5th and my experience was amazing. I was Dr. Chanchez patient and she and her doctors down to the nurses was awesome. The guy that had a black bag around his waist I forget is name but he was amazing, he made me feel so relaxed and I could see that he cared. And Cindy my nurse was definitely amazing she made my stay so awesome and amazing she really cared and showed much concerns. I appreciate all of you for taking of me. You all were amazing. Thank you Dr. Chanchez ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My wife and I just had our first baby at this hospital, and it was the best experience of our life!

Dr. Lindberg and Dr. Maanavi took great care of my wife during her delivery. They were very professional and made us feel safe the whole time.

The nurses were amazing too! I only remember Katelyn and Alexis by name, and I feel really bad about forgetting the others. They all worked so hard taking care of my wife. I was amazed watching how much they cared about us.

Even though I can't remember everyone's name, every single person at the hospital was wonderful. My wife's delivery went well because of these caring doctors and nurses.

We are so thankful for everything they did for our new family. This hospital made the birth of our first child special in every way!

I delivered my baby in March 2025, and I truly can’t say enough positive things about the care I received from the staff and nurses at INOVA. They are truly the best! The team is incredibly thoughtful in how they care for mothers, ensuring we feel healthy, supported, and fully present to care for our newborns.
They made what is often the most sensitive and overwhelming period for a mother feel joyful and nurturing. Thanks to the care I received at INOVA, I felt calm, confident, and present during those first precious days with my baby. Postpartum care is so crucial in those early days, and INOVA provides outstanding support. I would wholeheartedly recommend INOVA to anyone planning to have a baby!

I can’t express enough how amazing my entire experience here was! As a woman with her first pregnancy I was nervous about it all,but the ENTIRE nurse team I had was a blessing! From the time I got in Dayja took care of me as if I was her family! Then my night team nurses were amazing! Michelle gave me my cervidil & checked on me all night! & gave encouragement.
The next day my team Nikole & Seema!!! I wish I could’ve hugged them before shift change because those woman loved on me & cared for me as if I was related to them both! Those women get the highest praise from me!! The best team of nurses I’ve come across!

I had a wonderful baby delivery here on 7/27/2022 at 8:02 a.m. Although giving birth by C section method is a bit painful after the anesthetic has worn off. but I am very grateful to the team of doctors, nurses, and aides here. Service I rate 5 stars. Good food. Sincere care. Professional. The doctor who took care of me from the time I was pregnant to the day I gave birth was Dr. Annie Do. Dr. Do is truly a wonderful doctor. Thanks everyone at Inova Fair Fax hospital very much. Grateful to all.

The best labor and delivery experience I’ve ever experienced from beginning to end! We couldn’t ask for better Nurses than Abby and Amanda. They were compassionate, kind, caring, gentle, loving! They even stayed beyond their shift until my daughter had my grandson. I highly recommend iNova Fairfax Women’s hospital! Thanks for a great experience!

Truly exceptional staff and level of care - I was on the high risk floor for 3 weeks and then had our baby in the NICU 3 months. Not only did we adore the staff - their bedside manner was truly above and beyond, and we trusted their expertise completely - the facilities are beautiful and the app was a game changer for us.

There are only two very small issues with this otherwise phenomenal hospital - charging for parking to unwell women in the suburbs feels exploitative and the parking lot is poorly managed.

Dining services is a mess - consistently, they would cancel my order or just not answer the phone when they would back up.

my labor and delivery experience was fine overall, the dining was a mess, they always brought the wrong things, but im writing this review because of the OBED. A couple weeks after birth i had to go into the obed, maybe its cause it was a Saturday and nobody wanted to work but ALL of the nurses were incredibly rude, i could literally hear them gossiping about patients (including me) from my room. The i was treated my Dr. Outlaw, who was incredibly dismissive towards my symptoms and feelings, and had a horrible attitude and terrible bedside manners. Luckily once i got admitted the nurses were really nice and after a few days hospitalized i was comfortable enough to tell them how i was treated in the OBED and they apologized on their behalf. So overall while i recommend inova for birthing and would 100% go elsewhere for an emergency department!
