I have been dealing with a chronic lower back problem for over a year. After having a lackluster experience (unfortunately typical) at a well-known PT practice in my area, I decided to give Innovative PT a try. Their approach using Functional Manual Therapy is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Working with John Friege PT for the last 4 weeks has yielded phenomenal results! John is friendly, attentive, knowledgeable & efficient—a true professional. He immediately diagnosed the problem areas in my body and worked to restore their proper functionality. To my surprise…. after only two sessions--I was back to working out! I am continuing to make progress and getting stronger/more flexible with each session. In addition, Anna in the front office runs the practice like a top. I highly recommend Innovative PT!!!

I had this pain in my lower back above my buttocks on the right side that has been nagging me, but I just learned to live with it. However, after explaining the issue to Aaron at Innovative Physical Therapy, he quickly understood my issue and explained I had an alignment problem. He had me perform a series of stretches that immediately brought relief and realignment! AMAZING PATIENT CARE!
I have been to traditional physical therapy in the past for treating back pain and found the experience very hands off and almost like going to a personal trainer at the gym with no results or improvements. In my opinion, the focus seemed to be more on getting patients in and out as opposed to treating them.

Positive reviews attracted me to IPT and I wanted to contribute mine. For the past four years I have been struggling with chronic back and leg pain which significantly impacted most aspects of my life. Having experienced limited success with multiple medical interventions and PT settings, I was seeking a program with a different approach and more individualized assistance with specific unrelenting areas of pain.

From the initial consultation with a gifted PT, Zachary Engel, I knew I found exactly that. He listened, immediately understood , and carefully explained the mechanics of my issues. He provided an educational framework for proposed hands on treatment which made complete sense to me. This was unique in every aspect from any PT session in which I had ever participated.

After only one session, I had almost immediate and lasting pain relief in my lateral/anterior hip area that had been plaguing me for months. Though not completely gone, I no longer dreaded every step I took and now sleep through the night.

Words cannot begin to express my joy and complete confidence I then had in Zachary’s treatment plan. I have continued with two more sessions, each one resulting in marked progress with back/leg pain reduction and improved mobility.

For the first time in years, I am experiencing enthusiasm and hope that with his further individualized, adapted and targeted treatment I can look forward to a less painful and more functional life.

I would encourage anyone in need to try IPT and the approaches used there. Words truly are inadequate to express my gratitude for the professionalism, skills and expertise provided by Zachary as a PT, but additionally for his kindness, patience and empathy for my current physical limitations during treatment .

I have had back issues for years. First time someone has actively tried to fix it instead of mask it with shots or medication. I have gained 10 yards with my irons and 25 yards on my drives. Pain is minimal and I feel great. Taylor was awesome and his goal was to educate me on how to improve my condition on my own as well. Highly recommend their services and innovative approach

Aaron is an amazing healer. I used to spend months in PT with other therapists and make no progress whereas Aaron can get me 80% of the way to recovery in one visit. I’ve seen him many times. Most recently my neck and shoulder locked up right before I went on vacation. I was in so much pain it hurt to breathe. He was able to get me in the day before my flight and saved my trip! He is super knowledgeable and can illustrate and explain everything that is happening during the session which gives me great peace of mind. I’m always amazed at how much it helps to go see him.

My experiences at Innovative Physical Therapy have been exceptional. Not only are the staff courteous and professional but my results have been amazing.When I first arrived I was suffering from acute neck pain and arm numbness due to an impinged nerve as well as chronic shoulder discomfort from years of poor posture and stress. I was in severe pain and had ceased all physical activity and feared my active lifestyle would be a thing of the past. After a few sessions with Aaron and then John my neck and arm pain began to lessen and I experienced greater mobility in my upper body. After more work with them I now am much looser in my entire body and my impinged nerve has normalized. In fact I am now pain free. I am ecstatic with the results! Yesterday I was able to surf again for the first time in months-amazing! I am also able to practice yoga again with even greater flexibility than before my sessions and pursue my other physical activities as well. . The entire team are positive and caring people and I enjoy my time in their space-a different experience than other rehab type faculties I have experienced. I am truly a satisfied customer and would recommend them to anyone.
