I've been a longtime patient of Dr. Georges Joseph, and have sent many people to see him. I started seeing him when he was new to the area, I NEVER felt like a number in his office.
I have much respect for the care he showed my Dad in his last days on earth. Always will.

This being said I was EXTREMELY disappointed when I called to make a follow up appt. Per my PCP regarding some lab results.
I called to schedule and was told Dr. Joseph only see's new patients in the office. WHAT.

Reluctantly I scheduled with his Nurse Practioner.
The VERY NEXT day my insurance co. called and said I went out of network using his nurse practioner!!
I had NO CHOICE.
Why does she bill under her own name when she isn't a physician?

I contacted their billing dept. still waiting to hear back, I will not be paying this bill so hopefully it gets fixed.
Next call is to the office manager.
Why... why do great Drs take on so much, and lose sight of things?
It's a shame.

Dr George Joseph is THE best cardiologist in Florida! He save my life about 2 years ago, he followed me carefully after, and now my hearth is healthy and in perfect conditions! The staff at his practice are kind and efficient Thank you!!!!! Highly recommended!

Dr Joseph will do surgery and you’ll be lucky if you see him again. He has his PA do all the follow up. Expect at least
an hours wait or longer. Sometimes 2 hours. There is nothing showing his training and the hospitals where he did his residency. My husbands pacemaker has given him problems from day 1. Very unhappy!! 10/11/22 husband has nothing but problems (heart racing etc) 6 months after dr put in his pacemaker.
Medication not working so we’ve changed doctors!

Dr. Idicula and his entire team were all absolutely amazing! I had an urgent appointment scheduled and was promptly taken care of. I was terrified going into my appointment out of fear that I had something dangerous going on, but Dr. Idicula and his team made me feel relaxed and comfortable throughout my experience. The CT scan tech, Echo tech, and nurses all made me feel extremely comfortable throughout my time in the office. I cannot express how much I appreciated feeling comfortable, heard, and appreciated as a patient. Dr. Idicula values patient safety and made me feel respected as a patient under his care. Thank you so much.

I was a patient of Dr Joseph for a year first seen him in Oak hill hospital when I contacted covid I had to switch insurance companies due to not being employed at my company any more . I had another appointment with him to have another echocardiogram & appointment to discuss the results on September 30th at 4pm on a Friday his offices calls me to say we're sorry we no longer except your insurance you will have to find another Dr I'm just so angry with how they handled this obviously there is no compassion for his parents at all I would not recommend seeing this Dr.

Although I think Dr Joe is the best cardiologist ever, I cannot stand his office staff. They are rude and incompetent. They repeatedly book appointments for you and then call you at the very last minute of the day of your appointment to reschedule you or sometimes they don’t even remember to call you at all and you show up and find out that Dr. Joe took a last-minute vacation. I understand he’s getting ready to retire but that is no way to run an office. I requested to be seen by Dr. Joseph, the new cardiologist at his practice, but because I was previously a patient of Dr. Joe’s, they would not allow me to see Dr Joseph. I moved out of state for a couple of years and recently returned to Florida and I said I would be more than willing to see Dr. Joe As he is a very good doctor and was simply requesting Dr Joseph because of Dr Joe’s pending retirement. They told me that Dr. Joe declined to take me back as a patient and I was not allowed to see the other doctor. This is a ridiculous way to run an office and gives a patient no confidence whatsoever. This is not the first run in I have had with the office staff as I previously cared for a handicapped gentleman and this office treated him like garbage.

I’ve been Dr. Joe’s patient for just over 10 years! I would refer all of my family & friends in need of a excellent cardiologist to him as he is one of the very best. Doc takes an interest in his patients he listens carefully to everything I need to explain then gives me options, answers & solutions to whatever the issue may be at the time. Dr. Joe has sent me for second opinions all the way to Shands to assure me that certain procedures were or were not necessary. There are 3 different times I was preparing for un-heart related surgeries and after my office visits with him I was fortunately talked out of all 3 only to later find that my issues were in fact resolved without surgery. I could site many examples for patients to see Dr. Joe but there are to many to list here. In addition to being a great problem solver he is a very personable & funny man. My heart feels safe in his care. FIVE STARS for Certain!! I almost forgot to mention how wonderful his staff is, it’s a big deal to be treated with respect & kindness and you get it.

Nothing but problems after he put in my pacemaker. Poor attitude. Has PA taking patients that he should be seeing. Expect a very long wait! Just kept changing my meds. Nothing helped so I have a good dr now! Good one!
