I really hate to have to make this review. I was hoping this place would be different than other, somewhere where health came before money. I know its a business but hear my story.
I had my free consultation with Summerlyn. She told me she would do her best to figure out my mystery illnesses. She told me the cost was $500 to sign up and run labs through her first because insurance would most likely not pay for the labs shes running. Then each visit would be, i believe $90. Don't quote me on the per visit because I didn't write it down but I know it was reasonable and under $100 and I didn't have to pay monthly. This is what sold me into signing up!
I go to my first appointment, pay the $500. My 2nd appt 2 weeks later is my follow up to go over labs. As I am walking out summerlyn mentions if I want to sign up for the monthly fee of $125 let the front desk know. I asked the front desk about it and mention that's not what I was told on my consultation call. They say its new pricing and says she would talk to summerlyn. I get a call back basically saying sorry but $125 month or $225 per visit. I said that's not right I feel blindsided because changing prices isn't something you decide over night, its planned. She didn't tell me prices would change in a matter of 2 weeks that I signed up!
She tells me she understands (front desk lady) and would talk to Sumerlyn again but I never got a call back.
2 weeks later I call to ask about my images I had done that Sumerlyn requested and mention again the discrepancy on price.
(Since my last phone call I recieved what was a mass email sent to everyone, that, beginning May 1st the prices would change to $550 sign up and the $125 month fee or $225 per visit for non members. Even though technically I am now a member since i paid the initial $500 fee)
The lady tells me she would talk to Sumerlyn and calls me back, again telling me I basically still have to pay the new pricing!!! Even though NOW they decided not to change until May 1st. My 1st appt was Feb 19th and my 2nd was Mar 5th. Tell me why after signing up AND be told a certain price I am being required to pay 3x as much or monthly in order to see her again and continue with my course of action Totally not fair and unprofessional. Not to mention, she never even did assessment on me at our visit....only weight and BP.
Highly upset, I feel robbed and its funny because I actually told her at our consultation that I had a hard time trusting doctors now after all these years with my issues. All I got was labs so I cant say if she's actually good. The screenshot posted was email I recieved March 18th, a whole month after my first visit when I paid the fee and 2 weeks after my 2nd appt when I was told pricing changed with no notice. Had I had proper notice I probably would have agreed to the membership or had she agreed she told me one thing and made changes afterwards and would honor that price until May 1 (like the NOW email states) i probably would have signed up. But just denying me services until I either pay monthly or pay 3x as much is unprofessional and wrong.

6 months ago, Sumerlyn actually changed my life. I was struggling to find a doctor that could piece together why I felt so terrible for so long, but within just a single consultation, and a lab visit, a treatment plan was designed that led me to feeling better than I have ever felt in my life.

The staff and Sumerlyn are always fast to return an email or answer a question. Office visits are super thorough and never feel me leaving like my concerns weren't addressed. Just a genuine all around 5 star experience.
