Weekend Clinic deserves zero stars. My husband went in with stomach pain. There was a stomach flu going around at his work. He was looking for some relief. Instead, this doctor spent maybe a total of 2 minutes with him and referred him for a CAT scan at an emergency room. While I was sitting in the waiting room I watched patient after patient leave with paper in hand talking about having to go for a referral apparently this doctor sends for referrals instead of treating the patient. He scared my husband so much that he went ahead and went to the emergency room which ended up being very costly. The the whole point of going to the weekend Clinic was to save money and feel better right?! The doctor at the emergency room even agreed that he didn't belong there. She gave him some medicine to make him feel better and we were on our way. That visit cost us almost $1,500. I know if I mention it to our primary care doctor he wouldn't care and would be a smart-ass about it. Thinking about leaving intercoastal Medical totally. Took us almost a year but we finally paid the bill off. You really suck.

Switched doctor on March due to my old doctor no longer being in the group.
Was advised I need to wait 3 months for the insurance to change to the new doc so I scheduled a new appointment 3 months later. June contact them to confirm new appointment was advised there was no appointment set so then I scheduled another appointment 3 more months later. On Oct I arrived at my appointment just to be told that the doctor had an emergency and cancel same day with a few hours notice. By call that I missed. Was advised they would look into getting me in earlier. Contacted today to set up an appointment and now I have to wait till December to see my doctor.

I have all types of health problems that have persistent since March but can't seem to see a doctor

Not that another ONE star is going to make any difference because they don’t care! My Doctor, Dr. Parker is excellent but the support staff at this location sucks. The receptionist at the Lab downstairs (the older lady) is rude and abrupt. The person who took my blood sample was even worse. They have no supervision and have no training in customer service. They should be driven out of business!!

Many of the team members here are pleasant and helpful. But I've had some difficult experiences lately that I wanted to caution others about.

I had a 20-minute hold time on a simple call to set up an appointment.
When I told the call-taker about the health concern that drove me to make the appointment, and said I wanted to move up the date of my routine testing for this known issue, the staff member replied that I already had a test scheduled at an upcoming date. So I said again, I'd like to move up the date of the test. I repeated my concern and emphasized it is risky to ignore it (according to every patient-directed resource I've read). I shouldn't have to explain why this concern is valid.

I could have tried to make the appointment through their patient portal, but the registration link they previously sent me expired after five days. Guys, your patients are sometimes busy—consider giving us a little longer to finish signing up or making your phone system a slightly better safety net.

Before this 20-minute-hold call, I had an unsuccessful 30-minute-hold call earlier that morning and gave up.

Their phone's hold message explained that there are longer-than-normal hold times due to staffing shortages—but that message has been up for at least six months, if not a year. I request that Intercoastal correct those shortages and support their staff so they can support their patients.

This office used to be lovely. And I love my doctor and her nurse which is why I still come here. However, like other reviews no one picks up the phone. Even when you call at down times. This is ridiculous and unprofessional for a medical office, escpically one in a place like Florida where there are a lot of elderly people who prefer or need to communicate via phone calls. Do better.

Need to change my appointment date. Called the office to reschedule and waited over 35 minutes for someone to pick up, then decided to hang up. Service is atrocious yet the on call message says " we understand your time is valuable". IMG needs to review their staffing shortages or laziness!!!

This office is a joke! I was on hold 46 mins and the hag on the phone was rude said she would put me on hold instead hung up! They are pathetic! Definitely go somewhere else! They don’t care here!

My doctor is wonderful but waiting on the phone for over 40 minutes to make an appointment, then no one is ever on time for that appointment is ridiculous. It does not matter if it is early in the day or later in the day. You will wait for at least 20 minutes after you are scheduled.
