Unbelievable! Called for an appt with my primary care physician, and because I apparently have good health and haven’t been seen for three years, they dropped me and said I am considered a “new patient,” and they would “check” to see if Dr. Donaldson is taking new patients.
Um…no thank you. I will find a new provider.
Doesn’t even deserve one star. Shame on you, Honor Health. There’s no honor in that! You should be thanking me for my good health because it leaves your schedule open for others.

I just moved from Texas. This was my first visit. I hate to admit I was very apprehensive. I had been with my previous doctor >20 years. I received a warm welcome. Everyone was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.
Dr Donaldson took an extensive history, answered all my questions and developed a care plan in that will address my issues and help me keep a healthy lifestyle.

Waited for an appointment, liked the doc, which I was doing another follow up with. Drove from Cave Creek to McDowell Mt Ranch location.
Had called to notify the call center I was going to be a few minutes late due to traffic. Nice lady on the phone said not to worry. Was 7 min late for check
In at front desk. Other patients still waiting in the waiting room for the same doc. Was told I had to reschedule, it did not matter. I was 7 min late.
I needed to be seen, and appointments
were scheduled months out. . Would have to wait however long it would be for the next appointment.
Have not been back sense.
Hopefully, will never need to use the Honor Health GP again!
Was treated as though I commuted a crime and even though I called en route, and was told no problem, the employee at the front desk said the person at the call center had no right to tell me this.
This bridge burned to ashes.
Hope this doesn’t happen to many patients.

I have been seeing Dr Finlay for over 7 years.He is the finest doctor I have had in my 77 years. Caring, professional and brilliant. He understands before he acts and listens before he speaks. Honor Heath needs many more just like him. If he was interested he should manage your family health offices.

I was running late for an appointment, because a colleague’s kid was in the hospital and she was in a bad shape. I felt really bad for her and was very sad myself. My husband called the doctors office that I would be 10-15 minutes late. The call center said that it was ok. I reached 11 minutes 30 seconds late, but the receptionist marked me as no show. And cancelled my appointment. Dr. Janelle Donaldson according to the honor health Scottsdale office manager refused to see anyone over 10 minutes late. I have often waited for her for over 30 minutes at the doctors office. It was a very disappointing and deeply disturbing experience for me. I never expected Dr. Janelle Donaldson to have sent me away for being 11.5 minutes late.

My husband and I have been patients of Dr Christopher Finlay for many years. The last year of my husband’s life, Dr Finlay helped us navigate many difficult situations.
He doesn’t sugarcoat my health issues and I so appreciate that he not only listens to me, but hears me.
The medical staff at Dr Finlay’s office are kind, professional and knowledgeable- especially Heather.
I am not familiar with the other doctors at the practice but would highly recommend Dr Finlay and staff.

After having such a great experience with Dr Donaldson, I now find that any time I try to get in to see her I am given a date 3 months out. Any time I ask to talk to her, I am told to email her and may get a response in a few days. Any time I ask to talk to the front office staff at this location, I am told to email them. I am told if I am worried to call 911 or head to Urgent Care or the ER. What is the point of having a Primary Care doctor if you can't get in to see them and you can't just talk to them if you have a pressing concern? I don't blame the staff or doctors, it's no doubt HonorHealth trying to increase profits by flooding the doctors with patients.

I went here in the Spring of 2021 with medical concerns and saw the most condescending, dismissive physician who I think is no longer there. I was hesitant to see another doctor here. Gratefully, this past December 2021, I did see Dr Donaldson who is great. She listened to all my concerns and thoroughly addressed them all. She made me feel comfortable and was easy to talk to. I think she is competent and provided top-notch medical advice. The front office staff and nurse/assistant are all friendly and helpful.
