Meeting the HomeAbility staff today with my wife Ingrid was an unexpected pleasure. We visited the showroom to sample various lift chairs for recovery following an upcoming surgical procedure. Also high on our list was a staff that delivered terrific customer service before, during & after our lift chair rental agreement. HomeAbility covered all our concerns backed by quality products we were able to sample. Abby was as personable & knowledgeable as she was professional as she answered all of our questions with humility and concern. Steve was a bit busy when we were there but Scott & Bill were great to meet too. We are confident our journey for an effective and cost effective lift chair has begun with the right company.

Scott the store Manager took the time to personally repair my 2 transport chairs at reasonable price,and I’m now looking to buy a mobility scooter. Very well stocked store for all mobility needs. Kudos to Gome Ability on Phillips Hwy in Jax! Will never buy from @mazon again!

This company gave my Mom the ability to "age in place" in her town home. She fractured her pelvis and would never be able to go up the stairs independently, again. At 82, she is still sharp as a tack. My sister and I wanted to honor her wishes to still be in her home. The decision was made to get her a lift chair, so that we would not worry so much about her going up and down the stairs (which would have been impossible - only a heart beat away from another potentially devastating fall). Medicare of course does not cover such a chair. This company gave me options that worked within my means to provide a chair, for her. I put it on my credit card, but it was not SO expensive to the point I will forever be in debt, y'all. Without this chair, she would not have been safe to stay in her home. Give them a call. Forego a few nail, pedi, and starbucks appts, maybe a few nights out that you are going to put on a cc anyways for a year.....get a lift chair. They were very caring and professional and stand behind their products. Give them a call and see what they can work out, for you. I am a hospice nurse, so I understand when we are in these positions where we have a parent who is fully functioning mentally, but their bodies are giving out. Blessings to all reading this.

This is a locally owned family business and we treated professionally and warmly like we were part of the family from the moment we walked thru the door. We were looking at portable wheelchairs and they were very knowledgeable and accommodating. Cameron even put it in my trunk and backseat before we purchased, although I am sure he knew it would fit.

When the time comes, we will be getting the lift chair there too.

I had surgery on my tailbone and bought the coccyx pillow and a toilet riser with handles to help me with mobility and ease, both were a lifesaver during my recovery! The staff members were so nice and quick in their responses. Additionally, I’d visited a few other stores first looking for things that would help but found that they didn’t have much in stock; this place has a whole floor of different chairs and what feels like hundreds of different mobility accessories! I’d definitely recommend.

Customer service is excellent. Auburn is so friendly and very patient with helping my dad find the right lift chair that was comfortable for him! We will be back soon for a mobility scooter. Recommend this place 100%!!
