The ER here is good as far as I know. Been here twice and the staff is respectful. Particularly Milton, Kelsey, and Taiyesha. The first time I was here I was in and out. Second time was a three hour wait for a minor situation. Wait time was insane for something that took five minutes to take care of. The bathrooms could use some updating. But aside from that, staff is respectful.

My daughter has scheduled outpatient surgery here so we had no experience with the Emergency Department. The only reason I'm not giving the place 5 stars are social--the visitor chairs in admitting and surgery waiting were quite uncomfortable, (hard plastic--easy to clean, but not good for sitting) and while coffee and decaf were free in the waiting area, there was no hot water to make tea. Those are minor concerns.

The things that really mattered were all very good to excellent. The anesthesiologist was the most thorough I've ever encountered. We knew in advance that we loved our surgeon, The nurses were competent and friendly. The pre and post surgical holding area had real rooms with a private bathroom and shower--essentially a small hospital room rather than the curtained off areas most hospitals have. When she wasn't providing direct care, the nurse sat at the doorway, giving us a little privacy. The facility was clean and well organized. I was kept informed of my daughter's status while I was in the waiting area.

I had read some of the reviews, and was a little worried about what we might encounter, but this was a choice dictated by insurance. After being there, we would happily choose this hospital again. There was some construction around the garage and building entrance, but that didn't have any impact on us. And they gave us a discount on parking since she was a patient! Most area hospitals don't do that.

Today on September 19!
-I had a major breathing issue and high heart rate. .
Went straight to the emergency & was greeted with a warm welcome: There was 2 receptionist, they were both so kind and sweet! I believe one of them was her first day, she was so kind and sweet & funny, guiding me step by step, her personality was amazing! After checking my heart rate they were attentive making sure I got checked on quickly as possible, they got worried and made sure I got attended !

Afterwards I was greeted by an amazing team of nurses and doctors & more!.
Sadly I didn’t get all teams names. Just gotta say the morning staff there were all so kind and sweet- guiding me by step, making me feel welcome and assuring me with everything that was going on.

My doctor- MR. HAKMAN was very attentive making sure I had everything I need, very kind gentleman. I shall never forget him and we’ll remain thankful for all his guidance!
-My nurse LUIS was so sweet, nothing but good vibes, he was often checking up on me, making sure my heart rate was good. Made sure I had everything I need and was so patient with everything I needed! Never had a nurse so kind.
- As well as Nurse MATTHEW !!! He was so funny and kind, he was so sweet and good vibes! Answering questions I had & letting me know what goes on lol !

There was more teams, but I didn’t quite get there names sadly. I would say a total 8 or 9 or even more angels helped me today. They were all amazing and god bless them for all their help and patience!
I never had amazing experience with hospitals so it was a bit surprising having these amazing staff, a bit overwhelming I would say. 10/10 or even more.
I just gotta say they’re angels dressed in uniforms! God bless them for everything they do! Thank you !! ?

Here from out of town, went to ER, ended up being admitted. The absolute best care. Even the pharmacist came to my room and took the time to explain everything. The nurses and CNAs were so kind and caring. This hospital turned my acute renal failure around in 24 hrs with compassion and experience. They reviewed my whole medical situation and honestly, sent me home so much healthier and well-informed than I ever was at home. This is an excellent hospital with exceptional care providers. I trust them with my life.

Worst emergency room I ever been to!
Brought my husband in and he was severely ill, vomiting and almost fainting with chest pain. They said it would take hours to get blood tests and that people had been waiting many hours to get help. The bathroom in the emergency department was the grossest thing I’ve seen. Worst than a dirty gas station with mold and broken faucet. So disgusting. After waiting a little bit we left to go to the Glendale hospital instead. This hospital was so much better.

Everyone in the ER was caring, efficient, helpful and supportive. The staff in the hospital was also very friendly, understanding, quick to attend, the laparoscopic appendectomy went well. The doctors and nurses explained everything, easy to understand and showed great knowledge as well.

I genuinely had the worst experience within a hospital or emergency room at this location. In the middle of the night, I found my heart racing and nearly fainted without any provocation at the time. (I am blessed to be very healthy so this was a shock.) I called for an ambulance, as I have never nearly fainted before, the EMTs that responded were cordial enough, but I could tell they were slightly dismissive of me after explaining what had happened. When I got into the emergency room and began speaking to staff about the situation, essentially they just shrugged me off and made me wait in the emergency room for a prolonged period of time. The emergency room was absolutely freezing, my phone was dying, and they wouldn’t even give me a blanket or charger. I got fed up with wait time, my family could not contact me and I had the feeling that I was going to faint again. I ended leaving the ER altogether to Cedars Sinai, where I was actually cared for. As it turns out, I was mistakenly given a higher dosage of my prescribed sleep medication without the pharmacy letting me know I was picking up the increased amount. That was the reason why I almost fainted, because my blood pressure dropped suddenly from high dosage. What I gather is, this location is probably plagued with the unhoused population, and/or those struggling with addiction so they just dismissed me as one of the same. I’m absolutely disgusted in the nonchalant attitudes staff presented me with, simply because they’re choosing not to humanize those who they make incorrect assumptions about. Do better, before you people end up killing someone from your negligence and bias.
