I have a wonderful doctor in Virginia whose staff (for years) can’t get anything right. They’re very sweet but that just doesn’t cut it. At doctor Hodari’s office the difference is day and night. Not only are these ladies sweet, kind and professional BUT they’re SO on the ball. If there’s an issue, one phone call and they’re on it. Such a stark difference from most medical facilities. Thank you ladies!!! You rock!!

I’m quite disappointed with the quality of care I’ve received here over the past few years. While the office itself is beautiful and the staff is kind, the practices feel questionable at times. For example, I’ve been asked to do an EKG at every appointment since I was 15, despite being a perfectly healthy teenager with no heart issues. I’ve also heard similar experiences from friends in the same situation. Additionally, there seems to be a constant push for unnecessary follow-ups, even for minor concerns, which feels like a money grab. Communication has also been frustrating, especially when trying to obtain certain records. While I’m generally very understanding and easy to work with, this isn’t the standard of care I expect from a healthcare provider.

Recently, I had a physical with Doctor Hobdari, 19 days after having surgery. The doctor wanted to do an EKG. I expressed strong concerns against having an EKG done at that time because the site was painful, swollen and still very tender. Even after the doctor became aware of these concerns, she was adamant and insisted on doing the EKG. Keep in my mind that I did an EKG three weeks prior for the surgery and it was normal. How can my heart health change in 3 weeks? The doctor ignored my plees and concerns. This brought me to tears. I conveyed that I felt light headed. It didn’t matter! I mentioned that I could come later to do the EKG once everything heals, it didn’t matter! Stacy, the nurse, was very kind, sympathetic and completely understanding but had to follow the doctor’s orders. I felt that I had no choice but to do it right there and then. I thought of walking out but didn’t. This was my biggest regret!
They went ahead and did the EKG while I was crying from discomfort, soreness and pain. I was in distress. You can imagine what my EKG looked like! The main thing it was done and the list was checked. Who cares about the patient!! This was very insensitive, heartless and unsympathetic to my situation. I will never use the Hobdari practice again and don’t recommend it! I’d rather have no doctor than having a practice like that.

Very nice office excellent staff the only down side of it is since the office has gotten so big and she’s expanded to another office. You very rarely see Dr. Hobdari. You usually see one of the PAs or other doctors in the office. I’ve been with the practice since she opened, Approximately 10 years ago. Sometimes I would prefer to see her, but she’s very elusive. Although I get very good care from the PAs and the other doctors so I stay
