I was extremely nervous & anxious (I thought I was going to have a panic/anxiety attack) and I just wanted to leave & go back home to the safety of my home. But the ladies that waited on me and the therapist was very nice and understanding. We'll see how the next visit goes.

PLEASE TAKE THE TIME TO READ THIS!!!! I WOULDN'T HAVE GIVEN THEM 1 STAR IF IT WOULD LET ME POST MY REVIEW!! THIS SO CALLED MENTAL HEALTH IS NOTHING BUT A LAUGH!!! THE SAME DR. CASTRO, WHO YOU NEVER SEE IN PERSON, YOU JUST SEE HIM ON A TELEPROMPTER, HE DOESN'T TAKE TIME TO GET TO KNOW YOU, HE JUST LET'S A SO CALLED "THERAPIST" TELL HIM ABOUT YOU!! AND NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU TELL HIM THAT THE MEDICINE ISN'T WORKING, HE WILL NOT LISTEN TO YOU, HE LEAVES YOU ON THE SAME MEDICATION HE FIRST PRESCRIBED FOR YOU!!! EVEN AFTER YOU HAVE BEEN ON THE PSYCH WARD OF THE HOSPITALS, AND THEY GOT YOUR MEDICATION RIGHT THAT WORKS FOR YOU, AND MAKING YOU FEEL BETTER , HE WONT CHANGE YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS AND KEEP YOU ON THE MEDICINE THAT WAS WORKING IN THE HOSPITAL!!! HE DOES NOT HELP YOU AT ALL!!! HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT HIS PATIENTS AND THEIR WELL BEING!!! I KNOW THIS IS THE TRUTH BECAUSE MEDICAID MAKES ME KEEP HIM AS MY SO CALLED "PSYCHIATRIST"!!! BUT ME AND MY HUSBAND ARE LOOKING FOR A NEW PSYCHIATRIST AND WILL PAY WHATEVER OUT OF POCKET IT COSTS US!!! I WILL NEVER USE HIGHLAND HEALTH SYSTEMS OR DR. CASTRO AGAIN!!! I WOULD RATHER DIE THAN TO USE THEM ANY MORE!!!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE AT ALL!!! NOT EVEN MY WORST ENEMY!!!! THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR MENTAL HEALTH!!! THEY JUST WANT THAT MONEY THAT THEY GET FROM THE GOVERNMENT!!!! SO PLEASE, DON'T EVER USE THEM OR LET THEM NEGLECT YOU LIKE THEY HAVE ALREADY DONE TO SO MANY PEOPLE!!!!

This has been the worst provider I have ever dealt with. When you call you always get sent to voicemail and no one ever calls back. Then they blame you for being unresponsive. They cancel appointments and don't call. They let you run out of meds. Everyone is rude and unprofessional. For a place that is supposed to help with mental health all it did was make my stress levels and the stress levels of my kids worse. This is completely unacceptable. I would never recommend this place to anyone!!!!!

This place has not only ignored my requests for a certain kind of therapist but are so Unprofessional that they lost papers I needed to get signed so I could learn how to drive. They also never call or awnsers the phone/call back

Don’t even try to ask for help !! I’ve been hung up on before even saying hello several times it’s like they pick up the phone to stop it from ringing and hang it up . I’ve been trying for almost 2 years to get help with my intellectual disabled foster daughter in the state of Alabama. They are very negative when you do talk to them telling you it’s nearly impossible for us to move to Alabama where my husband was relocated from another state. Wow ..... no one is helpful or even cares . I agree with other reviews this place is a joke !!!!

It's my safe haven home to very special people like me my twins and hearts I love people so much I just got basically what I'm saying is my home is where my heart is I can feel like I'm going to lose win I'm actually winning the time you get here with me you will be lifted up high by my love love takes me higher and higher
