I love this place so much. I've been a regular for years. Tucked away on the 4th floor of a Fidi building; look out for the sign. Extremely high quality massage in tranquil, clean surroundings at an unbeatable price. They also wipe you off after the massage so you're not a sticky mess afterwards. They offer a small cash discount (there's an ATM onsite). If you like a stromg massage, ask for Susan!

Thank you Wendy for a great massage! Great location, separate spacious massage rooms with doors that close and give you privacy. No one comes in during your treatment to interrupt your therapist. Clean and professional and the most warm and wonderful welcome on arrival. The owner asks relevant questions about your health and what your problem areas are. They don’t rush you and don’t make you wait. I didn’t have an appointment, but they were able to accommodate me straight away. I will definitely be coming back!

This place is a true oasis of calm in the middle of downtown’s nonstop pace. This is a small business that truly understands great service and runs things with care and consistency. Highly recommend.
I stopped in after a long, exhausting day—six hours in an over-airconditioned room had left my whole body tense and a headache creeping in. The massage therapist was exceptional, applying just the right amount of pressure to release the tension in my neck and shoulders. I walked out feeling so much better that I bought a gift certificate for my daughter on the spot. What really stood out—beyond the quality of the massage—was the professionalism and warmth of the front desk staff. Months later, when my daughter needed help accessing the gift certificate, they handled it quickly and kindly.

Very nice facility and they had tons of appointments available so we were able to be seen within an hour. However, my massage was not enjoyable. It was neither relaxing nor therapeutic. It involved a lot of rubbing so much so that all I felt was the warmth from the excessive rubs. There was very minimal time spent on trouble areas. It felt as if we were stuck in the initial portion of a massage but forever! It was so not to my liking that in the middle of it i asked if I could reduce the time from 75 to 60 minutes. They were gracious and accommodating allowing us to leave early. The receptionist gave me a 30 minute free card for my trouble which was nice. Again, the place has many positives and the technician worked very hard. Maybe someone would enjoy that type of massage but it was just not for me.

After spending way too much time on our feet doing the tourist thing, my wife and I stopped in here for 90 minute massages. The staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and well decorated and the massages were perfect. 10/10 would do again.

Amazing massage place! I have tried many in NYC and this is the only one that has a great atmosphere, great prices and great availability. I also LOVE that massages are done in separate ROOMS! I don’t have to hear the person next to me sneezing and coughing or the bathroom being flushed every five seconds which is the exact experience I’ve had in all other places with “affordable” prices. Highly recommend and will be coming back!

They have lots of rooms (seven?) and staff so it’s fairly easy to do a walk in appointment. I got a dry massage as I don’t like being all oily. The women who work as masseuses seem a bit overworked. Also, there is an elevator.

Me and the bestie were searching for a reasonable-clean- spa and massage for our "Funday Friday". We narrowed it down to 2 and Hideaway won. We were running about 10min late but the staff was so patient while my friend caught up. Everything in the place was clean and smelled lovely. The rooms are cozy and YES they have doors! Walls a little thin but you'll still be relaxed. My masseuse was "Daisy" and she checked every 10min or so to make sure the pressure was ok. I chose medium and that was fine. It is a relaxing massage but be prepared for them to "get into it!" Bestie and I really enjoyed our time, we were so relaxed we just sat there for a bit sipping the lime water! Wil definitely go back - for less than $100 you get the same quality as high priced spas!

I’ve been coming here for over a year and always tipped generously, but after my last two visits, I won’t be returning. During one massage, the therapist kept pushing to add extra services, and during the next, another therapist asked me to “take care of her” with a tip — both made me feel uncomfortable. I also noticed the sessions were shorter than the full 75 minutes, and the front desk commented about me not having cash to her colleague while I was waiting for the elevator in a heated exchange constantly using the phrases “cash tip”, “cash payment”, etc, even though I left a generous card tip. It’s disappointing because I used to really enjoy this place, but lately it feels more focused on upselling than on providing a relaxing experience. I will not be coming back.

This was my first visit and I usually don't write reviews.... I feel compelled to share that I had an exceptional massage and experience at Hideaway. I have had 4 back surgeries and the massage person named "Daisy" listened to my concerns and worked on the muscle spasms in my back and took the time to work the knots out and help my back relax after many days of tense pain.... The Spa was very clean and all the staff people including the desk girl were friendly and professional...I highly recommend this spa and if you are lucky enough to get Daisy I am sure you will get a pro deep tissue massage.
