My first time going was not what I expected. The receptionist/clerk that I gave my insurance information to was very rude. She told me that my insurance card wasn't valid. I explained to her that I work in HR/benefits at my job and yes my BC/BS card was valid. She continued to tell me it wasn't. While standing there I called BC and the customer service rep confirmed my insurance was active, the lady at the front desk continued to tell the BC rep that her system showed it wasn't. After about 10 minutes the receptionist finally allowed me to check in but told me if BC didn't pay I would be responsible. The doctor was amazing, I just wish he could replace the rude receptionist.

Now I understand why this place has so many one star reviews. Booked an appointment, provided my insurance, took time off work to go, only to be told by the clerk that she called my number and left a Voicemail saying they no longer accept my insurance the morning of the appointment. Never received a call based on my call records or a voicemail on my machine. Doubled checked the number with her and they had the correct number; no call at all. Don't use this practice if you actually need adequate Healthcare.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Dr Remillard is a great Dr but his office refuses to see you for your meds if you have a balance & can not pay it in full!! I am a first responder & a single mom with no help from my ex & told them I can pay some but not all of my balance which is only $200 & I’ve never had a balance before but they absolutely refuse to see me for my blood pressure & cholesterol meds if I can’t pay all of it!! So if I have a stroke due to not having my meds then it will be on the Dr & his office! I have also worked in the medical field for many Drs & someone’s health is WAAAY more important than making sure their balance is paid!! It’s absolutely ridiculous & quite sad & clearly they care more about money than the welfare of their patients!!

Never dealt with more rude and disrespectful staff. I called to re-schedule my daughters appt and was not getting anyone to pick up the phone due to a lunch break that far exceeded 1 hour. We finally got through to the “office manager” and were told she could not reschedule us due to a “no-show”

I highly recommend Remillard + the NP + the staff here. Always friendly - and even in moments where they’re understaffed and have way too many patients/calls - they never make me feel rushed. Sometimes the receptionists on the phone can be short with you - but I’ve never taken this as them being rude, they’re just doing their best to accommodate all their patients in a timely manner. I always feel like I am heard and understood here, and I’ve never had an issue with requesting referrals and having them follow through. I am always treated with respect, almost never have much of a wait - and even when I do, it’s well worth it. I recommend HFM to everyone I know. I love y’all and everything you do for your patients!

Dr. Remillard is patient and thorough. He is never in a rush and makes conversation. I especially love the nurse or receptionist named Regina and the phlebotomist. My issues come with lack of note taking. I have requested referrals several times only to have to ask again while standing in the specialist’s office. Also I one time made an appointment to get my thyroid checked. When I got my results back, it was a classic blood panel, not the thyroid. I called the office and they said they had no notes of me requesting to have my thyroid checked. I would have to pay my copay again to have it checked so I just went without it. That was very frustrating though as thyroid issues run in the family and I was exhibiting some symptoms. I also find the staff to be a bit rude on the phone and sometimes they hang up when I still have another question.

I just love Dr. Remillard... He's a kind man and does everything to get to the bottom of your issues. His staff is just as nice and they too will help with all they can. I highly recommend him and hope he doesn't retire before I'm gone on to meet our Jesus...

I've been bringing my mom here for a little over a year. We have never waited any LESS than 30 minutes, and that was when we were the first appointment after they reopened from lunch. We have been waiting (35 mins as I write this) for lab work only. They either need to learn how to manage their time better or stop accepting new patients. We will be finding a new doctor for my mom.
