Dr. Liz Hernandez is very kind and thoughtful. Thanks to her that I found out I had a huge fibroid(grapefruit)growing inside of me. I haven't been to a doctor for many years and I'm so grateful that she caught it during my physical exam. I thought I was just gaining weight. Her staffs are efficient and helpful. Thanks again Dr. Hernandez and your staffs!

I really like Healthy Living Primary Care, Sabina & the Care Team are Awesome. I would give a 5 star review if the Primary Care was not limited in treatments by the insurance companies. I've been struggling with hormonal issues and had to find out about the testing and treatments from an outside clinic. I was told insurance limits what this primary care is allowed to talk about.

I feel a bit neglected since I have struggled with this issue for years and have had lots of blood work, also referral to rheumatology. I'm not sure why this primary care can not help with hormonal issues referral when my Blue Shield policy says they cover TRT.

I was recently turned away from an appointment because I was 10 minutes late. Being late was my fault so I understand that but I had a serious injury and I just needed the doctor to refer me to a specialist and schedule an MRI for me to get the treatment process started. There was zero consideration for my condition. So I found another clinic that saw me the very next day, they got me an emergency MRI a day later and have treated me completely differently. I cannot support a clinic that doesn't have compassion for their patients when they're seriously injured.

If you are looking to fulfill your long time American Dream of being fully insured but yet receiving the worst healthcare experience possible, look no further.
The office staff hates interacting with patients, which is awesome.
Good luck reaching anyone on the phone. You’ll interact with a texting app and receive standard form letter responses to your requests apologizing for inconveniences.
Don’t worry about choosing a doc, because you’ll be seeing whoever the text app tells you you’ll be seeing. Respond in 12 hours or you’ll lose the one proposed appointment at a random day and time and doc of our choosing.
Save yourself a lot of frustration and go with UC Davis or Sutter who have live office staff who will answer the phone and talk with you.

I called 3 times over the course of about 5 days. All 3 times my call wasn’t answered. I also left 2 voice mails which “the helpful staff” are supposed to listen to and answer within 24 hours. I wasn’t granted such luck. So I went onto their website and went through their text messaging feature and left a message there. This was answered within about 20 minutes by the “front desk”. My question is why can my text message be answered in a some what reasonable time but my phone calls cannot? I always thought the main job of front desk employees was to answer calls. I guess I was mistaken. Anyways I went to a different office and they answered their phone within 30 seconds of waiting. This other office is definitely a bit more up to my expectations. To clarify I am sure the physicians at healthy living primary care are fine. My issue is solely with the office staff.

When I got my injection, the doctor explained everything prior. Really put me at ease because I don't like needles. I didn’t feel it at all!!

The office staff is very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend this medical practice.

I recently just moved out of state, but I had been a patient at this doctor's office for about three years. And I have never had any problems. It's a wonderful doctor's office with wonderful professionals. I felt so comfortable and welcome there. I would recommend this doctor's office to anyone, especially women. 💯
Dr. Lara DeMaio was my doctor, and I highly recommend her as a doctor even though I'm sure the other doctors are great. It's just through my experience because I had her. She was one of the best doctors I've had. She It's so down the earth, easy to talk to, very understanding and she makes you feel so at ease and answers any questions you have. She makes sure you leave there feeling secure with your appointment and how it went. There is no pressure with anything. No feeling like you're embarrassed with her. She will be missed as a doctor by me. 🫶🏼
