My medical insurance recently changed and this office was on my list of providers and in my network. I contacted your office yesterday morning, to schedule an emergency appointment as soon as possible for symptom sinus infection. I was told I would not be able to be seen until my insurance was verified. Which is understandable. The front staff member requested that I go to your text site to submit my insurance and additional information, which I promptly provided while I was still on the phone with her. She said once it was verified and approved I would be able to schedule an appointment. I received a message stating that my insurance had been verified and accepted/ and that I could now scheduled and was asked to provide my address and contact information, which I also supplied. However, when I called this morning to schedule the appointment, I was informed that I would need to wait an additional 24-48 hours, possibly, due to the office's inability to assemble a patient chart for me. I find this delay to be unreasonable and unethical, particularly given that I am experiencing a sinus infection and am currently at an urgent care facility with a fever. My insurance has recently changed, and your office is a contracted provider, which is why I sought to schedule an appointment with your practice. I am disappointed in the lack of urgency and professionalism displayed by your staff, and I have decided not to pursue treatment at your office due to this experience. It would have been more understandable if the office had no availability, but the reason provided was the inability to prepare a patient chart, which I find extremely unacceptable. It’s good that I decided to go to the urgent care, I have an upper nasal infection around the bridge of my nose that required two separate types of antibiotics prescriptions. Had I waited another 24 to 48 hours For a patient chart to be set up, I could’ve ended up in the emergency room or in the hospital.

Sometimes it’s the aura of a doctor’s office that makes all the difference in the world and sometimes it’s the staff. At the Healthy Living Primary Care Center in Folsom, CA I’m confident in saying that it’s BOTH! I find the office environment is not chaotic, sullen, or anxious. Everyone has bad days sometimes, but the staff/doctors at this location manage never to take it out on the patients. Staff/doctors are always professional, flexible, and composed. Interaction with them is a pleasure! A special shout out to Dr. Hennings and her P.A. Leesa Bingham. SO glad they’re a part of MY team!!

Folsom Primary Living Care has been the best doctor’s office I have found. I’ve finally found a care team who listens and works with me to deal with any health issues that may arise. I highly recommend Dr. Hennings, and Cambria, my husband also really likes his Dr, Dr. Mash. Not to mention, their staff is all very friendly and helpful. I’m also usually able to get same day appointments, and they respond to questions and messages pretty quickly . Highly recommend this practice.

My NP is incredible! I've been working with this medical group for almost two years and it has been a great experience. My NP acts as a true partner in my care. She cares deeply about her patients and works to get to the root cause of issues instead of only treating symptoms. I would highly recommend this group.

I am 100% satisfied with every aspect of this practice. At 77, I pay a lot more attention to my health and well being than when I was younger. I am proactive about my life choices and actively participate in the ongoing process of maintaining my health. Dr. Golepang consistently treats me with respect as he guides me along my journey and advises me on various medical issues that require my attention. The entire staff at Healthy Living Primary Care reflects the same respect and care for both me and my wife.

I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Liu and her staff at Health Living. I left Kaiser after 23 years and the change in my care was just what I needed.
