Melanie Newman is the greatest I've ever seen medically. I've been using her as my doctor for years now and she is always very thorough and to the point of what needs to be done medically. I love that about her. That is what Doctors should be like. She is also very caring and she has the best bedside manners. I would not choose any other doctor to see but Melanie Newman.

Dr's and nurses are awesome. How ever their communication is crap.... once you get through the Automated entering service. And actually get to speak with a person.
It's like playing ring around the Rosie. I'm getting through. To the correct people and clinic.It's easy to forget.Why you even called

ZERO STARS should be an option for the nurse named STEVEN that just called me and talked to me like I was a piece of scum! Let me start by saying that my review has nothing to do with the Doctors at Healthy Connections. It is the company itself. There is no way to get in touch with your doctor or the doctors nurse to ask a question or refill prescriptions. The portal is a joke. I have been a patient since 2018 and have had multiple APRNs that I can honestly say are the best. As far as the communication or actually being able to speak with them, HA don't hold your breath. When you call the only option is to speak with the scheduler and then they can relay a message to the nurse of doctor. You will not get a callback. My daughter has been a long time patient of Dr. Porter he is literally the best pediatrician in all of Arkansas. He will not rush the appointment he listens and speaks to you a way that you absolutely know his plan of care for your child and makes sure it aligns with her specific health needs. He has helped me with my daughter when I could not find any other doctor to take the time to even listen. Today I had to call for the third time to have my daughters prescription called in to the Pharmacy. Received a callback from a nurse named STEVEN (he would not provide me with his last name) The ONLY reason I received a callback today is Steven had the scheduler call me back to relay the message for him. He should have been the one to call me back in the first place. He started the conversation immediately annoyed like having to call me was not something he should have to do. He was very unprofessional and downright mean, said that Dr. Porter would not call in any of her prescriptions until he sees her (the first available appointment is 2 weeks from today) he offered to schedule her with another provider in 7 days! But still she would be without her medicine. He said that it is the law that my daughter be seen by the doctor before refilling any of her prescriptions and even if this law has been broken by them in the past they are going to be audited soon and are now complying with the state law. I completely understand they must follow the law but there is no need to speak to anyone that way when I am only trying to advocate for my child. I told him that I am a single mother and the reason that I needed to reschedule her appointment for today was because I am unable to miss time from work. Steven said that I am just trying to play the victim and my daughter has missed 8 appointments!! There is no way she has missed 8 appointments and if that is the case her medication has been called in every single month since she became doctor Porters patient.. I am so sad that I have to leave this review based on this person. I have never been treated that way before by anyone at healthy connections until today.

I have never left a negative review for any medical provider or business but If I could leave zero stars I would. I had a hysterectomy on Wednesday. We started calling the number given to us to contact if we had any complications Thursday morning. When no one ever called us back we tried the main number to healthy connections and I sent messages via the online patient portal. It is now Sunday evening and no one has made any attempt to call me back or message me back. To say I’m mad is an understatement!

I'm so thankful to have found Dr. Worley! She is kind, thorough, and made me feel comfortable while explaining the different treatments available for me. I already feel 100% better! She is a blessing, and I'll never go to anyone else!

Had a pretty good wait in the waiting room but was a new patient so I don’t know if that’s normal for this clinic. Other than that love the nurses and the aprn that I saw.

Sadly I have to say I am frustrated with my doctor. I went in for a check up on a med I was taking. I requested a refill on my asthma inhaler, and here we are some 20 days later and I still haven’t been able to refill inhaler. I have sent messages on my pt portal, sent personal requests through “Karen” the not so nice first point of contact, sent requests from my pharmacy and even went to the office in person for the front desk to give him the request. Still nothing. I know you were really busy that day I came in on Nov 13th, but I’ve done everything I can think of to get my medication will you please get it refilled?
