It is highly unprofessional and offensive for a dentist to suggest that enamel erosion is caused by meth or fentanyl use without evidence or a proper understanding of the patient's history. As someone from the East Coast, I have never encountered such assumptions from a dentist, especially since I do not use those substances.

If you come here for help with severe anxiety /ptsd and panic disorder you will not get much help . You are looked at like you are a drug abuser even if you don’t do drugs people wonder why normal people turn to the street for drugs and end up dieing from overdoses it’s because of places like this that refuse to really help you you really feel like their is no choice you try to do things the right way only to get told nothing we can do . Hope they shut this place down except the dentist as they are the only thing that’s amazing here .

Don't expect to be treated like an actual human being if you are LGBTQIA2s+

I was literally HUNG UP on when I suggested a different treatment approach tailored to my specific needs

Thomas Nguyen, the dentist here is really nice. The girls who work with him were very nice and friendly, too. I am very embarrassed about my teeth and he was so nice and helpful. I am very grateful that I am able to have such a nice dentist. I know someone in Texas where they don't have access to dental insurance with Medicaid. He had a bad tooth and died because he took too much Tylenol, trying to get rid of the pain. In California, low income people on medi-cal also get denti-cal. Just something to think about and be grateful for.

I have always had a good experience here. They got me into rehab and helped me get my life together and now are providing me with dental care. I hope their dental staff is awesome because I have a lot of trauma surrounding dentists, so we will see.

The staff are all friendly. The receptionists, the nurses, and the physician who saw me were all friendly and knowledgeable. However I had an extremely frustrating experience and I believe it’s because of my “official physician”. I believe his name was Richard. Or the logistics here need serious work.

I was sitting in the waiting room for 40 minutes and I had to go to the front and ask them what was going on before they finally came and grabbed me.

The physician who spoke to me was great but informed me that the person who’s name is actually assigned to me couldn’t see me. Then he failed to send my prescription to the pharmacy, making me call (which is a tedious and vexing process) and wait at the cvs for the prescription to even show up on the pharmacists end. Then I find out that they forgot to put in my prescription before they went out to lunch. 3 hours later and I still don’t have my medicine.

Absolutely despicable.

Update:
Two days later, multiple phone calls and messages, and they still haven’t sent my medication to the pharmacist.
After my third phone call, someone finally physically tracked down the physician to get them to send it.

Update: day five. they finally sent my prescription to the pharmacy but they only sent half of it. Now I have to call again to ask them to send the other half 🤦🏻‍♀️
Just, really incompetent.

I was considering making this place my PCP because of how nice and friendly everyone was, but it’s extremely apparent that they do not know how to operate a functioning clinic. I spoke to people in the waiting room who said these antics are pretty standard for this place. Misplaced prescriptions, lost appointments. I’m not sure what’s going on here but I really hope y’all figure it out.
