I am just absolutely blown away (in the best way possible) by the team who took care of me in the ER. Every single person who I had the pleasure of interacting with (outside of the staff in the waiting area) had to have been some of the most compassionate, empathetic, honest and professional medical professionals I have ever encountered. I will forever be grateful to have been treated by all of them, a simple thank you upon exit did not feel adequate enough, so I felt inclined to leave a review! Blessings to you all 🙂

I just had my second child with the labor and delivery unit at healthpark and had the most amazing staff aiding me in my delivery and recovery. During my c section I was taken care of by Viviana, Shelby, and Olivia who made my experience one with happy tears in comparison to my previous experience which was filled with tears from fear and pain. These women took care of me in a way I will never forget and I am very grateful I was lucky enough to have them as my team. While recovering, I had the pleasure of being taken care of by Tracey who had a way of easing my anxieties with her calm and stable demeanor. I was lucky enough to have her two days in a row and her care gave me strength and peace. I was also cared for by nurses Antonia and Chantal who were amazing as well. I am beyond pleased with my experience this go around, beyond grateful for their care.

If I could give a lower rating I would. I don’t recommend. It takes forever to get seen by a doctor, usually the next day. The waiting room wait time is atrocious. If you like lying around waiting for any actual health care then this is the place to be. I feel helpless and like a hostage here. I genuinely need medical attention and I don’t have any real options other than to sit here and wait for them to treat me for my medical condition. As of now my emergency surgery has been postponed for 3 days due to their incompetence. Patient beware!

Friend was brought in 3pm, they did blood work and only when I arrived at 11pm were they taking urine and more blood. X-ray and a cat scan and it's 2:30am we still haven't spoken to Dr and we have been waiting since 11 to find out if she can have a water when it's been hours since last test. Not even a no with a reason, just ignoring her If you make eye contact with anyone they walk away. It's dirty, there is one stained chair so I have been standing most of the time. If I were ever to have an emergency near here I would still go somewhere else. She couldn't walk to the bathroom but was left there and had to pull the chord for help, then they left her sample in the community bathroom where other people used it in between and I found it when I went in almost ten minutes later and told them. When I get sick from whatever I catch from the uncleanliness here you can bet I will go out of my way to go anywhere else.

" I would like to express my deepest gratitude to Dr. [Doctor's Name] for the excellent care. I truly loved every aspect of her service. As a new resident, I've visited other doctors, but none of them came close to being even 1% as attentive and helpful as she was. She genuinely assisted me and made me feel secure during a delicate time. Without a doubt, she is the best doctor I've seen in America. Additionally, her team, especially Melissa, was incredible. I am extremely grateful for their care, competence, and empathy. Thank you so much!"

My first grandbaby was just born. I found everyone except one nurse to not be happy working here period. No one seemed to have time for my daughter. The front gate lady was rude to everyone everyday I was there. I think her name was Penelope or something like that. Life is not supposed to be that miserable. Some people are dealing with hard things already. When she is the first thing people see she needs to be pleasant. The 4th floor also was not very helpful with teaching her things she needed. We’d just like to go home and learn there.

My husband consulted with the psychiatry department on January 21, 2025 while he was in- patient since 12/22/2024. He had open heart surgery while there. During the psychiatric consultation, the doctor said he was going to start a new medication the next morning, 01/22/2025. The doctor said that my husband may have some really painful and severe side effects as a result of this new medication. When my husband expressed concern, the doctor said to let his nurse know if the side effects were bad, and his nurse would contact him or his office and they would make the necessary changes to mitigate the nasty side effects. The side effects were extremely bad. My husband immediately let his nurse know that he was instructed by the doctor to have her call the psychiatric office. She made multiple attempts over a 2 hour plus timeframe to contact the office as well as the individual doctors in the department. No doctors answered the messages.meanwhile my husband was in very bad pain and experiencing an array of side effects. At this point my husband wanted to leave the hospital AMA and seek medical treatment elsewhere. The nurses and myself advised against this because he still had 2 weeks of IV antibiotics left to fight a life-threatening infection. 5 hours later, still no answer or orders written to remedy the situation which was explained would be immediately addressed the night before. All that was needed was for my husband to inform the nurse of the side effects. We attempted to call the doctors directly and were told by a recording that no operator was available and abruptly disconnected from the call each time we attempted to seek help for the terrible situation that was occurring. We attempted to contact the charge nurse for help. The charge nurse never returned our calls and never came to his room to discuss the matter or to attempt a solution. We are beyond frustrated and this is our last attempt to reach a solution. Apparently being in extreme pain emotionally and physically is par for the course at this hospital. My husband and I have lost our faith in the healthcare system. This is really unfortunate because otherwise the nursing staff and caregivers have been exceptional and very compassionate, competent and caring. My husband said, “The system they have in place for contacting the prescribing physician, especially after being reassured that an intervention would be quick in the event that the side effects were intolerable.”We hope that this review would lead to changes being Implemented so that this breakdown in communication ceases and a better system would be instituted. In the end, the nurses sent the first message at 10:05 AM to alert the physician that something needed to be done and an order written. At 3:43 PM intervention was finally made and a medication change was ordered. This is unacceptable in any industry, especially healthcare where a few minutes could mean the difference between life and death.
