Alex is an amazing, nurturing Watsu therapist. But, it’s way more than therapy; it’s an adventure of the body mind and spirit. I can recommend him enough. If you’re in southern Florida, book a Watsu treatment with Alex and you’ll never forget your experience.

I am so grateful for the time and care Alex spent working on me. It was the most awesome massage I’ve ever had.
I felt so loved and held and safe in his hands. The combination of Watsu and a regular massage after was just what my sore body needed.
I felt an incredible release in my tight neck and shoulder area. For the first time in ages, my neck didn’t feel like I had to strain to hold up my head.
My only regret is that I didn’t schedule a longer session!

This was the most relaxing and rejuvenating retreat I've ever stayed in! His home is beautiful and peaceful, the heated pool is amazing, nice location to the beach. Definitely recommend having personalized sessions with Alejandro, he's a true healer. He is very in tune on an emotional, spiritual, and health conscious level and recommended the perfect sessions for me. I loved the Watsu aquatic healing, in just the first session I experienced a total shift in my nervous system, it was very calming, great way to start a retreat! I had hoped to destress and unwind for a few days, by the end of my stay I left feeling totally blissed out! Great experience, highly recommend!!

Alex, Alex, Alex!! Such a wonderful host. I’m a local and decided to retreat to Alex’s beautiful sanctuary. Yes, he has rules but they are in place for a reason that I certainly respect. So those of you who don’t like rules, please find another place to stay because the rules are conducive to the environment he has created for his home and guest. The home is beautiful and is exactly as pictured. Alex was warm and created a safe space for me. The home has everything you would need for your stay. As far as the retreat and his services.. Life gets HEAVY‼️This retreat allowed me to center my emotions, process past experiences, be still and present with myself and add to my journey of self-love and healing.🖤 this was by far, one of the best decisions I’ve made for myself; sometimes you have to be selfish if you want to remain healthy and thrive🦋✨ Alex is a true healer. Take advantage of his services, don’t hesitate. My experience exceeds a number but if I had to, it’s certainly 10/10 ⭐️

This was my first time ever doing Watsu. A friend of mine had an amazing experience with Alejandro and suggested I go see him for a session, she was in tears when she was telling me how life-changing her experience was. I am so so happy I took her suggestion because I have never been so relaxed in my entire life. I did not realize how tense and uptight I was until I finally relaxed. Alejandro was awesome and I was very comfortable with him. He talks you through what to do in the beginning and is respectful of your space and process. I am very glad I did more than a 30 min session because it took me at least 20 minutes to allow my body and mind to fully relax. I didn’t know how badly I needed this and was missing this in my life until I finally experienced it. Thank you so much Alejandro!! I learned so much about myself and how to allow myself to not just relax, but love and respect my body and mind 💕

Alejandro Medin of Health & Light Institute is full of love and light. He is truly a magical healer. The Watsu Therapy at his amazing pool was an experience to be relished. It felt in parts like the nine months journey I had in my mother's womb. I felt so safe and supported in Alejandro's hands. He is unconditional love. One can truly be vulnerable with him and in that safety, healing and transformation occur. I highly recommend this healing journey to anyone and everyone who wants to expand, heal and grow. Alex is a powerful healer. His watsu sessions are beautiful and liberating. I loved the way he guided my body to relax and let go to deeper levels while in the warm water of his home pool.
I felt safe with him.
His backyard is a very peaceful environment and the warmth of his pool helps the body relax.
