This company is despicable! A group of dishonest thieves. I would not recommend this company to anyone. First of all the agent that sold me my plan was from a third-party. He ripped me off by adding an accidental death policy to my account that was $50 bucks a month for $100,000 in coverage.
After months of paying premiums I decided to go to the doctor and look into some issues I was having. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE would accept my insurance. When I learned this I called and cancelled my plan. The next month I just happened to check my bank account to see about a refund I was suppose to receive and what do i see, a withdrawal from Health Insurance Innovations on a plan that I cancelled the month before.
This company needs to be shutdown. They are immoral and dishonest!

Worst health insurance ever! The one time I finally had to use my insurance you guys never came through. I spend a whole year talking to your rude and unprepared customer service agents trying to understand why you guys were refusing to pay your part of my medical bill....
I could go on and on on this review, but to summarize, I ended up having to pay almost $7000 from my own pocket thanks to this Insurance.
I will never ever have this business as my health insurance. And for those out there looking for a cheep insurance option... run away from this one. It’s a scam! It is better to pay a little more for something that actually works.

So far so good. I'll keep you posted this is the first day I bought the policy, coverage to start 10/1/2018. The web site was easy to log onto, representatives were good. UPDATE, never actually used the insurance, I eventually qualified for tax credit, but I was able to cancel and they promptly stopped charging so that is good.

Do not do business with this company. Not an insurance company and the mediator who goes over all "legal matters", speaks so fast you can't even decipher what they're saying. I tried calling and cancelling my policy for a week and they screened my phone calls or let it go to voicemail. Which before, they gladly picked up. One I started asking many questions- whose my insurance with? , where is my welcome letter? , why haven't I received my welcome email yet?.... and so on- I started to become parenoid. What professional company handles business this way?!! horrible business, frauds, and are only personable to reel you in. Do research about them before you give them your information. When it sounds too good to be true, it typically is.

Absolute SCAM. I canceled in January of 2016 and was "secretly" being billed under another company name.

DO NOT GET THIS "INSURANCE" AKA "HiQuote"

This fake insurance WILL NOT COVER YOU according to the Affordable Care Act. It is NOT insurance.

If you cancel, they will continue to bill you under a different company name, ITS ALL the same company. Worst part is the give you the "I can't find your info, you don't have a policy or ever did in our accounts".

Why then do you have my email address, phone number, HOME address and date of birth? Why do you send me email saying "we appreciate your business as a MEMBER of blah blah blah...

I have had the WORST experience with them. I signed up with them but then went on BBB and read many reviews, mostly unhappy clients who also cancelled their policies within weeks, if not days. I called a week after I signed up and cancelled and asked the representative Matt SEVERAL times if my account would be charged and his response was "no ma'am" repeatedly...well, my account was charged and I was furious. I don't know what kind of operation or scam business this company is running but when I called to get my money back, I was placed on hold for more than 30 minutes. I will also be reporting on the BBB because this is down right ridiculous.

We were harassed into buying a policy and told it was Affordable Care Act compliant. When we decided to change over to a more reputable company we we called over and over again during open enrollment period and promised compliance. Now we are told our policy is not in effect and it was short term and non-renewable. Why are people routed to their company during open enrollment if they are not willing to be a long term provider and suck money out of people? All things related to Obama care has made it MORE difficult for my family to get decent insurance at an affordable rate.

I just received 8 phone calls in 4 hours the day after I told them that my credit card was stolen. I believe that everyone I spoke with must have learned English as second language. Everyone had thick accents and seemed to have a hard time with any word over a syllable long. For example the words: quality and quantity. If I wasn't so frugal, I would no longer be one of their customers. This is borderline harassment. They should thank the stars insurance is required by law.

Rx plans are horrid and require a phone call ahead to receive the discount card no pharmacy wants to use. EVERY SINGLE REFILL. The call must include the name of the medication, dosage, and amount to be received, also the exact pharmacy where it will be filled. Lots of wasted time on hold to accomplish a task that was automatic with all my other insurance companies. ALSO, if you need a medication after they have closed or on weekends: forget it.

The next month they tried to bill the old card and when it didn't go through I received hang up calls. As many as 20 a day! This is true harassment!
