What started out as an emotional, stressful decision became the best thing that could have happened to our family. My father was admitted for rehab following a near death experience with myasthenia gravis. The family had never been to a rehab facility before, but as a retired nurse I was first impressed by the way they displayed their survey notebook in the lobby for all to see. Very good reports. Then the tour, hmm, everyone is up and busy doing something, not laying around in their rooms. The staff was super friendly and the facility was clean. Dealing with a retired RN can be tedious but the DON, Holly, handled me well, assuring me that my father's best interests were their main concern. Then the admission process which went smooth as silk.
Then the care! They all babied my dad and made our family feel so comfortable we were able to relax. They even made sure my scared mother was tended to and even insisted they eat together so she would get her nourishment also.
Making the decision about where to place your loved one who needs rehab is mind boggling and very stressful on the entire family but I have to say that we were so pleased with everyone at The Health Center that we would definitely recommend it to anyone in the area.

Great care my uncle was living there be for he got real sick and they to great care of him and he was parilzee from waist down when he recently passes away the facility sent us a letter giving us the best wishes to the family would def recommend to go hear with your love one.
