I was in fast track and it lived up to it's name. In and out in under 2 hours. Nursing staff was great. Absolutely loved Julia my nurse who is also a student nurse. You MUST KEEP HER!!! I was treated with courtesy and decency by everyone I met. Would recommend this hospital especially fir fast visits. Although it was very good, I hope I don't have to come back anytime soon. Please share this with management.

My 92 year old father was admitted to Woodmont two weeks ago with fluid in his lungs and with his blood sugar very low. I cannot thank them enough for how they treated my father for the 8 days he was there. The doctors, nurses and case workers who work the 3rd floor were really caring and I cant say enough about them. A special shout out to Nurses Geraldine, Melissa and Carleen for being so patient with me and my constant questions about my dads condition and what was being done about it. Also a special thank you to my dads case workers Simone and Charlita for assisting me with the many decisions that I had to make for my dad and explaining the different options (so helpful). I can honestly say that if I needed excellent care for a loved one or myself, I would not hesitate to go back this hospital.

I came to HCA Woodmont today for severe lower back pain that was shooting down into my right leg (assuming it was sciatica). I had never experienced anything like it before and was in excruciating pain. I was put into Fast Track within less than 30 minutes and was promptly seen by a nurse (I don’t remember her name, but she was great). She had suggested that they would just give me some pain meds and then send me on my way. But I had asked about getting some imaging done. She said I could speak about it with the doctor. The Nurse Practitioner, Ashley Stewart, came in and was very attentive and listened to everything that was going on. I expressed my concern and asked if they could do an MRI. She said they could do a CT Scan which may show something. So I agreed…and I’m happy I did. The results can back and my S1 Vertebrate is displaced. I was floored. She came in after I was given the results and was very empathetic to the situation and explained what the results meant and what my next step should be. She sent over some prescriptions to help with pain and I was discharged. I am very happy with my visit today and the way I was treated in the ER. Having a good experience during a hospital visit is few and far between and I’m very blessed to have had some answers today.

I received good services from the ER staff and the man that did my CAT Scan. Staff were pleasant and friendly. However, there appeared to be a disconnect between staff when I was in my ER room in terms of what staff was doing what, ie, if the doctor was coming back to my room to provide me with additional information, if they were going to hook my IV back up after I went to the bathroom. It turned out that the nurse came and said I was discharged and they did not remove all of the plastic covering:material on my body after they took the IV out. I ended up removing it at home.

It’s disappointing that I feel this way because this hospital is the closest to my home. However, if I can help it, I will go the extra mile to seek care elsewhere in the future.

During my visit to the ER, I was taken from my room and placed in a hallway down a corridor near a makeshift door that was under construction while I wait for a room since I was admitted. I sat there for four hours with people constantly passing by, moving my belongings to make way for patients or materials. I felt completely exposed, with no privacy, as if I were on display.

A few staff members stopped by to ask if I needed anything, and one, who I believe was the lab director, was particularly kind and brought me something. However, for the majority of my stay in the hallway, no one checked on me. I needed to use the bathroom so badly that I ended up disconnecting my IV and finding one myself as there was nothing around to call for help. By the time I finally got to a room, I had already taken multiple doses of my inhaler, and my allergies were flaring up from inhaling dust in the corridor where I had been left for hours.

Despite these issues, I want to acknowledge that my interaction with the staff was great. However, upon discharge, I was assured that my medications would be sent to my pharmacy. After repeatedly calling the pharmacy and leaving an after-hours message for the doctor, I contacted the hospital today—only to be told that it was my responsibility to follow up with the doctor myself and I should have done a better job with following up. This is the same doctor the hospital contacted multiple times while I was there, yet now it’s suddenly up to me.

I am appalled and deeply frustrated. I feel like I wasted my time and soon-to-be money on a hospital that I have always defended to others. This experience was beyond disappointing.

I want to share my family’s experience with HCA Florida Woodmont Hospital in hopes that they improve their care for future patients. My grandparent was admitted on March 7 and stayed until March 10. While the nurses were kind and attentive, the overall experience was disappointing and frustrating.

During his entire stay, he never got to see a doctor or receive his medical results. We constantly asked for updates, but the nurses could only tell us they weren’t allowed to provide any information. He was eventually discharged without any explanation, still in severe pain, and with no understanding of what was wrong.

Unfortunately, due to their lack of proper care, we are now at another hospital as of March 16, where he is finally receiving the attention he needs, including new treatments. This could have been avoided if Woodmont Hospital had taken his condition seriously from the start. I truly hope they do better for other patients in the future. No one should have to go through this kind of neglect.

My stay on 2 south in room 207 bed 1was excellent! The staff were very efficient and courteous. They made sure that my needs were met in a timely manner. Everyone displayed a pleasant attitude and they let me know they were there to ensure that I was taken care of. I would like to sends warm hugs to all the staff for the care I received. I would like to send a special thank you to Paula, one on the charge nurses. I didn’t forget your name this time 🤣 The food was also tasty for hospital food. I would recommend this hospital to family and friends. Thank you Woodmont Satff!

Very kind and nice staff, from medical assistants to doctors, they were so nice to me (Visitor) and my fiancee (Patient). He was admitted for a nasty infection. I have observed doctors, nurses and other staff handled a rather difficult patient who was staying in the bed next to my fiancee's bed. That patient wanted to leave against medical advice, but it was obvious to the layman that he should not go. He could barely get up, much less walk, and complains of terrible pain and was being uncooperative with his physical therapist. That patient also wanted to take hospital equipment and such with him home. Understandable that no one wants to go to the hospital, much less stay there for days. I watched the staff handled him gingerly, even he was not as nice in return, and they gave him a lot of grace and patience. Parking can be hard to find sometimes but that's normal in any hospital.
