If you are a young patient that is chronically ill with real diagnoses (not self diagnoses) do not go here. I’m sure he’s a fine doctor for the older folk but he does not want to listen to someone young or believe them. He wouldn’t not take me seriously and just thought I was complaining. I went to him a couple times crying out for help and he wouldn’t even set me up for referrals to doctors like I asked. I left his office a couple times feeling so unheard and not helped. Please if you are young go somewhere else. I found a much more caring doctor after him.

Friendly staff members but horrible experience with Dr. Adrian Rivera Flores. Do NOT go see him just because he is the only Spanish-speaking doctor there. He is blatantly ignorant, disrespectful, and unprofessional.

I went to him for several concerns and he continually interrupted me. He kept saying “so what?” and “okay and?” after every symptom I brought to him. Most of the time, I couldn’t finish my sentences because he made it clear that my concerns didn’t matter because “I’m young”. While it’s expected to not have any health problems at a young age, it doesn’t mean that I don’t and it doesn’t take a genius to know that. You would think that he would know that ESPECIALLY as a healthcare provider. A lot of health problems could be avoided in the future if they were treated in its early stages.

Additionally, he made unsolicited comments about my personal life. For example, he asked what I wanted to study in college and when I replied, he went on a tangent about to not get distracted with boyfriends, eventually hinting at unwanted pregnancy. While he was examining my body, he noticed I had piercings, so he assumed I wanted tattoos (which I did not mention anything about). He made his opinion clear on my personal choices that were of no concern to my health or the appointment. It was VERY different from making conversation, especially as a healthcare professional. Keep in mind, I’m a 18 year old female and he looks to be about a 60-70 year old male.

Not to mention, I was misdiagnosed multiple times. First, he wrote off some of my symptoms as anxiety attacks but did not proceed with a solution. Secondly, the paper that is collected at the end of the appointment that includes the summary of the visit, is incorrect. One of the diagnoses is “Dysuria” which for background, is the difficulty to urinate. I don’t have this issue and it was not mentioned once from either of us during my visit.

Overall, I felt unwelcome, uncomfortable, and not cared after. He did not take me seriously, as a person nor as a patient. It was clear that he was just trying to get the day over with. It was honestly the biggest waste of my time.

I have no complaints. Dr. Rivera is my doctor and he is very good at his job..Every staff has treated me well. Kim checked me in, very sweet lady. I like how you can get your blood work done there and x rays too! My visits has always being quick and to the point.

Family Care Specialists, in our humble opinion, are simply the best. Dr. Rivera and the staff at this office are always caring, compassionate, patient, and incredibly competent. We are always warmly welcomed, rarely have to wait more than just a very few minutes, and are afforded the doctor's undivided attention while he is in the room with us. We have been patients of that office for several years (coming up on 10 years) and would not go anywhere else.

Dr. Rivera was prompt in responding to abnormal mammogram results with same day referral for biopsy. When those results were received, he arranged to see me the same day to go over a follow up plan and sent out referrals that same day. In less than a week, I now have an appointment to see a cancer specialist and develop a plan forward. I know from many friends that this kind of response is not usual, and they have to wait weeks just to get the referrals. Thank you, Dr. Rivera.
The office staff was also courteous and friendly as well as those to whom I spoke when trying to get a message to the doctor. Here again, their response was done in a timely fashion.

I see Dr. Umana at Belleview II Urgent Care. I consider myself lucky to have found him. He is a great doctor that cares about his patients. He listens, empathizes, and works hard to deal with any health issues that arise. He has recommended me to 2 other doctors for treatment. One for pain management and one for gastroenterology. Both referrals have been to excellent doctors.

The nurses are terrific and so is the staff. I was amazed the last time I went to Dr. Umana. He was late getting to me but instead of just letting me sit there he came to me, apologized, and told me he was running a little behind and had one patient ahead of me.

I was not upset with him at all, he does his best to be on time, but he is a doctor, and sometimes patients take a little longer than anticipated. Happy to recommend him and the facility to anybody looking for good care.

Very understanding but if your my primary care and I can’t schedule an app within 72 hrs of being discharged from the ER with chest pain. Like thanks I’ll just hope it goes away but maybe you can see me next Friday!
