Horrible experience for us. Staff did not take time to understand patients special needs and/ or ignored them. We made every effort to explain what was required. Our requests were clear and simple yet still not followed. I tried reaching out to a supervisor and was treated as if I was stupid. In my opinion, if you are a guardian of a patient in this hospital do not leave their side. They may be transported without a guardian present to speak for and represent the patient properly. I will say, 5 stars to Dr Higgins, his staff and the surgical unit. But when placed on a care floor, it all fell apart. Don’t even get me started on the case manager. Overall experience was disappointing and shows how $$$ money focused they are versus the patients needs.

I had testing performed at Oak Hill Hospital. The "sign in" process was seamless, the staff is courteous and professional. My wait time for the procedure was minimal. The medical staff was outstanding. Explained the test process and expedited my test results report, that normally takes two days, was ready the same day for submittal to my referring physician. I highly recommend Oak Hill Hospital testing facility.

I cannot say enough how well taken care of during my visit, everyone goes above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable! I felt well cared for and really really appreciated the private room, it made all the difference in allowing me to sleep while I was healing. Thank you to all who assisted in my care!

Care and treatment were excellent. I was nicely greeted at the check-in which took only a few minutes. I was taken back to the preprocedure room and prepared for the procedure. Waited for the doctor and staff that performed the procedure. After it was done, took me to the recovery room.

Everything was done in a friendly professionally way. Congratulations to all the staff for a job well done!

The nicu is one of the best there is! Best doctors and staff that work so hard and care so much for your little ones. Heather S. the nurse during the day shift is great at what she does, cares so much about the babies, is so nice, and definitely knows what she’s doing. Every time she had my baby I knew we were in good hands, I’m very grateful for them and all their hard work they do everyday!

I was iffy on going here to deliver my baby because when I was just 6 weeks pregnant they diagnosed me in the ER with an ectopic pregnancy and an intrauterine pregnancy… all to find out I did not have an ectopic pregnancy, but a very healthy baby growing. Come 39 weeks I went in to get checked and had a midwife who was very pleasant, she stripped my membranes and my labor was off to the races from there. Within 3 hours from stripping my membranes, we had a beautiful baby girl along side some incredible nurses and overall wonderful medical team. Britni from labor and delivery was one of a kind, a truly an incredible nurse. To finish it off when I moved to mother and baby, I had an okay experience until my final night when Alyssa was my nurse, she helped me tremendously. And Jackie the first shift nurse leader, what a pleasant woman, she made me comfortable, welcomed, and overall could tell she adored her job. The staff is great and I would highly recommend delivering your baby at HCA Oak Hill!

The experience I had was beyond not good. I honestly do not find it fair to the other hospital staff for me to leave a full review of the patient care I received as this is the only time I have or will ever hopefully go to this hospital. I felt like a learning adventure for students and nurses not an actual patient. I feel the procedure performed was not the procedure that was referred to be done by my doctor and approved by my insurance. I truly hope this was a one time incident for other patients sake as I personally will ask to be going elsewhere. If Hospital staff would like to contact me about my concerns that would be great.
