The nurses and doctors are wonderful. They can’t do enough to make you comfortable and at ease for whatever procedure you are having done.
The hospital staff is efficient and I had no down time from when I arrived before going for my procedure. They were extra friendly to my friend who brought me there and couldn’t do enough to make me comfortable and at ease before my procedure.
My doctor came to see me before my procedure and explained everything to me and answered all my questions so I understood what was going to happen each step of the way.
I would highly recommend JFK North to anyone who needs to be in a hospital. Everyone was great!

I was admitted to the emergency room. The emergency room team was working on me as fast as possible to stabilize my high BP. Every precaution was taken to ensure I was taking care of. I was admitted for overnight care and fore tests. The nursing staff was professional and gave me the extra care. They even provided my wife a lazy-boy without asking so she could comfortable spent the night there. The doctors were thorough with the examination and provided careful advises before I was discharged. This is my first time at this JFK NORTH HOSPITAL.

The service in the emergency room was ok I give it a 3, but when it got down to the actual service, I give it a minus 50. The nurse was very rude. and disrespectful, as a matter of fact she was so disrespectful and rude I got up and walked out and called my son and he took me to Jupiter Medical Center. The way she was talking to me was like she was talking to a small child that had done something wrong. I worked at a detention center before, and the nurses there treat you better than that nurse you guys got. When I feel a little bit better, I plan to come back there and fill out a complaint, against that nurse. She needs to be fired or severely disciplined. She was talking to me like i was in prison, and that behavior should not be acceptable in any place of business. I am 74 years old, and she showed no signs of respect. I wish I knew her name so could include that in this evaluation. I plan to visit that place in a couple of days to file out a complaint form against that nurse because her behavior was unacceptable and unprofessional....my advice is, unless they do something about that nurse " Don't Go There "...

I have been an inpatient in a few area hospitals, unfortunately, but it was necessary. I'm glad to have a forum to respond since I have so much to say.
From the moment my wife and I registered at the front area for outpatient surgery, Everything went perfect which is not the usual thing in my experience. Everyone was extremely helpful and cheerful even at 6:00 in the morning. We had some questions with billing, that was answered instantly by a clerk and the front billing manager. We were then escorted to a back waiting area for pre-op. That went well, everything was Timely and everyone who interacted with us was very kind and warm. When it came the point to going to pre-op, my wife wasn't permitted to be back there, and that's okay. When I went back there, every single nurse introduced themselves with big smiles as they set me up in a bed and put my number on the board.
My nurse was a seasoned nurse with lots of years behind her I could just tell. Her sense of humor said it all. After I was all prepped with IVs and down and so forth, my anesthesiologist came in interviewed me and then put in my block. He was knowledgeable and as conversational as any doctor is. Anyway after a few hours it was my turn and they wheeled me in and that's all I remember. When I got to my room afterward, which was 204, my nurses were super helpful and made sure I was comfortable and had everything I needed. They paid a lot of attention to me, I know they had to, but it seemed like they were just willing to anyway. I had to stay overnight and I had the same attention until the time I left. All the nurses did a great job I'm sorry I can't remember all their names, but they should be recognized for excellence in service or even a team Daisy award. I can tell you from experience, that I did not have that level of competence, familiarity, and friendliness my last few visits to area hospitals. Thank you and Kudos to your entire crew who made my overnight stay a lot better than I thought it was going to be.

Worst hospital you could ever go to, they don’t care about you I was freezing in a room that was damn near on 21 degrees that’s how cold it was . they don’t have no bar soap or deodorant ( they took my belongings) they pick and choose what they want you to eat. I spend 2 days here with no food in my stomach, I was put on a clear liquid diet they didn’t let me know when I was off the diet instead they kept feeding me things I’ve never even seen before all you get to shower is a small bottle of “ JJ “ baby shower gel and dry shampoo witch is known for giving cancer .this hospital had students take care of me and ask me personal questions without my consent They constantly lie to me and refuses to give me the staff information because they’re “students “ they said I wasn’t good to be home and kept me here for a whole day with no iv fluids no heart Monitor just kept making me drink big doses of potassium when they could’ve gave me that through an iv and the other educated hospital would

AVOID. I am a retired hospital administrator who had an outpatient procedure there last week.
While the staff was very friendly, I was appalled by the way the place was run:
1- at 9 am in the morning, the waiting room rest room was out of soap and the trash can was overflowing.
2- they took me to a private prep room where I was hooked up to a monitor, etc. There, I had a 2 hour wait (that happens, so no problem) BUT ...
a)no one from the staff came to check on me during the 2 hours - and they could not see me from their station. They did not give me the call button remote either, which is standard procedure when you leave any patient unattended in a hospital .
b) the monitor was not plugged in, so it was running on battery. The battery started making noise after an hour and eventually died, so no monitoring and no one came it to check on it, let alone hook it back up. Wow!
c) when it came time to roll me into the operating suite, no staff member showed up so MY ANESTHESIOLOGIST, A DOCTOR, ENDED UP ROLLING ME ON MY GURNEY so they could get started. Incidentally, I was most impressed by his initiative - the JFK staff should learn from him.
d) My doctor and the anesthesiologist had to wait for 5 minutes before getting started because a "tech" (another staff member) was late in arriving at the operating suite.
BOTTOM LINE: there seems to be no accountability nor a cohesive effort at this hospital and everyone does their own thing. Maybe that's good for staff retention, but not for my health care.

I was there to have an outpatient procedure. The nursing staff made me comfortable and helped ease my anxiety. Everyone involved was very professional and understanding to a very nervous patient. I would certainly go back there for care again. 5 stars !!

I had an outpatient procedure done at JFK North...right from when I walked in the door for my appointment, everyone I made contact with, up to my procedure were all very efficient in what they do for the medical campus and they knew their jobs and performed very well. The Dr. Was great and fast with the procedure...I woke up from my slumbers nap during the procedure...I was informed of everything that was done and was promptly released earlier than wxpected...Great medical teams here at JFK North...I would recommend the location highly for anything their hospital does. They really looked afterme...thanks team you were great!
