At Haven Health Saguaro Valley, I have had the amazing opportunity to be around the people and community. One person that truly stuck out was Chelsea Yates, the case manager. I have seen her interact with not only patients but also the families of said patients with respect and compassion. She has made a true impression on patients and their families. I have heard only good things about her. She is incredible at what she does and you can tell she puts her whole heart into it. If you want your family member well informed and helped, I truly recommend speaking with Chelsea.

I highly recommend Haven Of Saguaro Valley they give exceptional patient care and their case management team is phenomenal. Chelsea really cares about her patients and go out of her way make sure that her patients have whatever they need. The rehab department is highly successful with rehabbing, their patients. I highly recommend Haven Of Saguaro Valley to anyone looking for skilled care center for their loved one, family or friend.

Please!! Please!!! DO NOT!!!! LEAVE ANYONE YOU LOVE HERE!
My loved one, who needed in house physical therapy after have major reconstruction knee surgery was admitted here. They had to use a knee brace and a walker just to go to the restroom. They were transferred from a tucson area hospital on 2/13/2024 and was kick out by 2/22 because of and insurance issue. They provided them with a ride to a bus stop and left him there walker and all. They had no where to go, they had to use their leg to walk to find a phone, which is against their dr orders. The patient tried to work out the insurance issue when it was brought to their attention. But when this place didn't see a resolution right away, didn't wait a day or two to see if it could be rectified.
That is disgraceful! How do those actions prove they care for their patients well being?! It doesn't it shows they are only truly concerned with their pockets & profits. They could have waited a day or two for the issue to be fixed. But they didn't. If they will do it to my loved one they will do the same to your loved one and anyone else's. Br proactive do not send your loved one here, to be thrown out like trash!

I keep forgetting to write my review but thanks for reminding me. The Haven was also highly recommended by St. Joseph social worker who really pushed it above everything else. I was there from Saturday-Friday because of my knee surgery rehab. I was ready to leave Saturday night when they put me in a room next to someone who needed to be watched constantly and the door had to remain open so I had to hear the TV blasting through the night since it was next to the day room. I tried to leave the next day but they placed me in a private room so I stayed but i never saw any professional staff until Monday afternoon. It was horrible in every respect - only had six hours therapy the whole time I was there, food was barely edible, staff were inattentive - I went half the day without any ice for my knee. The last two days, I could barely sleep because the bed springs and controls were gouging my back which ended up hurting more than my knee. They did not want to release me until Saturday - said I would be AMA if I insisted. I called Humana who arranged my release on Friday.. After leaving, I had more and better care from family that eclipsed anything that that the Haven (?!) could provide. As I left, I experienced survivor's guilt for everyone who had to stay.

ZERO STARS!!! NEGLIGENCE!!! DO NOT PUT YOUR LOVED ONE HERE!!! In less than 3 weeks. My dad went in for physical therapy and instead he ended up in the ER DYING!! The staff at this place were letting him starve to death!!! No one’s light bulb turned on that he’s being heavily medicated and hasn’t touched his food for days. No one took notice!! They just kept medicating him while his food sat there untouched. How do you work in health care but don’t care at all about your patient’s healthcare?!?! How does a patient go for physical therapy and end up on his death bed…. Now he’s a St Joseph’s fighting for his life. Fighting off an infection he got from Haven Health. He’s fighting off kidney failure. My dad is fighting off everything that comes from being starved. Don’t bother contacting the “Executive Director” Thomas Welker, he’s clearly in a meeting. To be continued…

I want to let everyone who's thinking of putting their loved ones in this place: don't. I wouldn't even give one star, but you're forced to. Let me explain how they work. The staff changes every three days, so you never know who to talk to. Either way, when you ask a question, they evade you in every possible way. They ignore the patients; time after time, lights go off, and people ask for help, yet most nurses sit at the nurses' station, ignoring the calls for help. Next, the doctor is never on-site, and they never know when he is coming, and they won't let you talk to him either way. They prescribe incorrect medications themselves or give too much medicine to poor, sick people. Rehab is very limited as they come whenever they see fit. So don't expect that to happen either. The cleanliness is awful: dirty sheets, dirty rooms, dirty floors. They treat patients rudely. Last but not least, the food is awful as well; some of the food is hard, cold, salty, and of poor quality. Bottom line: do not take your loved ones here.

I want thank this wonderful team for doing such an amazing job with my father. Starting from the kitchen and Cnas, food was on time, hot and delicious. Cnas were prompt and with a great attitude, Nicole and Rosie are the only 2 names I remember. The nurses were amazing, caring and attentive to my father's necessities. Kudo to Ana, Maria and your wonderful Monica Wound nurse. Also great job to those night nurses. Admissions, Case Manager and recepetionists were kind, helpful and made us feel at home. Thank you to your transportation, he has the biggest heart and his attitude so positive. Your Activities Director wonderful and helpful. Thank you so much to your Therapy Team
April and Lanie worked with him the most. Also Whitney, Amanda, & John did some with him. I'm so happy he had the BEST Team. KUDOS TO ALL OF YOU ?. I recommend 100% this facility, is truly the BEST in Tucson. Take care and May God Bless you!!
