Had stomach issues (Colitis), went pretty well, waited and was seen quickly, they pulled blood, urine and a CT Scan, took a couple hours, but at the end of the day I was given a diagnosis and treatment, felt effortless.

Everyone there were super nice, and I was even offered snacks by some volunteers. Didn't exactly feel too nervous, was a calm environment.

This is one of the worst hospitals I've ever stepped foot in. Our patient room has not been cleaned once in 5 days. Poop & pea on the floor the we had to clean up after three days. The door handle in the room 328 would not open from the inside, cabinet drawers were broken, countertops delaminating being held together with whit medical tape. It took four days for an actual doctor to tell us my brother in-law was terminally ill. Nurse response requires 3-4 call buttons for the same need within 75 minutes. Filthy! Poor patient care! Still don't have a diagnosis other than cancer after 9 days in here.

The staff is not very caring about pain, the nurse/doctor assistant is not very good at his job all I got after going in there and falling off a ladder and not being able to walk at all was a suggestion on who to go to no test ran for my leg. This place should be shut down

This place is awful. I recommend not going here if you can help it.
I've been to dozens of ERs across the country because of my Chron's Disease, and I've never been treated as badly as I was here.
1. Everyone that worked in the ER was unfriendly and unhelpful. They did not ask any of the usual questions that would help get me the treatment that I needed at the time. I was not asked any questions about my medication, disease, etc. All they wanted to do was run tests that cost thousands of dollars (which I do frequently enough with my primary GI doctor, so have no interest in doing at an ER.)
2. It took around 3 hours for them to do anything for me. This was extremely frustrating because I was telling them that my pain level was an 8/10 and I needed some relief. The ER did not appear busy by any means while I was there, and I was the only one waiting in the waiting room to get seen.
3. In the end, they refused to give me any real help. I ended up with a $1,000 bill for some IV fluids and some strong tylenol.

I'm going to do everything I can to not pay for this horrible experience. I left after 3.5 hours when I realized that they were going to make me fight off my pain for the rest of the evening with minimum relief, unless I agreed to run thousands of dollars in tests. All I needed was some pain medication and IV fluids. What a disgrace to our healthcare system this place is.

Pickle Trip

I shouldn't have this amount of absolute distrust for any medicine field, but here we are.

They do not listen to you, they do not have your best interests in mind but they will hold you here running the bill up on your insurance. Tests and x-rays that weren't needed, and now I am leaving seven hours into my wait without their blessings because they want to keep me here three days for an infected tooth. Discharged without anything, no antibiotics. Nothing.
They told me I would die, well...I would MUCH RATHER die at home than in this hell hole.((Update: didn't die. Urgent care gave me the antibiotics I needed, not the needless testing to run up the bill on my Medicare. Go figure.)

Heed this warning:
DO NOT COME HERE ALONE. DO NOT LEAVE PEOPLE YOU LOVE HERE.
DRIVE TO VEGAS IF YOU CAN MAKE IT.
This is where you will die.

I am not in any way joking.
You will die here.

Someone needs to investigate this facility.

Brought my husband here while we were visiting the lake. He woke up day 2 of a 10 day trip with diverticulitis pain. He has had it 3 times before, so we knew right away what it was. By the time they checked us in the triage nurse was ready for us. After taking vitals and hearing what was wrong, he went to get the Dr. Dr. discussed a plan of treatment that involved labs and prescriptions. We were released an hour later with all the prescriptions my husband needed that our Dr. back home wouldn't write from out of state. The whole trip took less than 2 hours on our daughters 13th bday. I don't know what all the other bad reviews are about, but we are thoroughly impressed and won't hesitate to come again if injured or sick while visiting the Lake Havasu area.

a couple months ago i came here for severe pain bc of a uti. i have experienced numerous utis before because im prone to them and have never been in this much pain in my life, and felt like i had no choice BUT to go to the ER. i’m not an arizona resident, and was a minor at the time, two weeks away from turning 18. the receptionist was cold to me when i explained my situation and i was told i couldn’t see a doctor until my parents approved it. well, my one parent that could approve it was boarding a five hour flight in less than an hour. i told them, i’m in extreme pain, i need care, and you need to call my mom ASAP. they said they would, and then declined my insurance. mind u i was 17 at the time and away from my family scared and in a ton of pain with only my boyfriend with me. they called me in to get evaluated relatively quickly, and as i’m sitting there talking to the nurse practitioner he seems to be super dismissive. they took me back after ~30 minutes (relatively fast compared to what i’d have to endure later on) and then sent me to the waiting room. i asked them, are you going to call my mom? and they said yes, but at this time my mom was about to board the flight. in the waiting room my situation worsened, i was fading in and out of consciousness and sobbing, by then my mom had boarded the flight and was about to take off soon. i walked up to the receptionist and told her they needed to call my mom now, that i was in extreme pain and not feeling well, i needed help and asked when i would be helped again. over the course of a couple of hours, they didn’t call my mom after i urged them to three times. i told them my condition three times and finally the receptionist snapped at me. my mom was in her flight, couldn’t receive any more calls at this point. i’ve never been this mistreated my hospital staff in my life. nobody was taking me seriously. eventually, they took me into the back, gave me a paper, told me i had a uti and prescribed me antibiotics and told me to go. i told them i felt like there’s more wrong with me, they didn’t even acknowledge it. they didn’t call my mom until two weeks later, and by then i’d already turned 18. there’s still something wrong going on with me and they didn’t help me at all other than prescribing antibiotics the infection and not listening to my concerns and shooing me off. i received a check in the mail under my name for $1k for care they barely gave me.

Kristen, Keith and Ben where all absolutely amazing!! Adult or child I got to witness the same kindness being 27 and worried from what seems to have been food poisoning. From the moment I step into the er to the moment I left the environment was nothing but friendly, welcoming and non-judgmental. Thank you all for making the hour drive beyond worth it<3
