Annie was such a breath of fresh air! The moment I walked into her office I knew I was in good hands. She put me through a battery of tests at the first visit to determine where she needed to focus her treatment and then retested me down the road so I could clearly see how much progress I had made and where I needed to continue to improve. The concussion recovery protocol has changed dramatically over the years and Annie was up to date on the latest research and treatment. Her online course also helped me to understand my condition and the underlying medical issues. I would highly recommend Happy Brain PT.

Having torn an ACL lately, Annie gave me a needling treatment that took swelling and stiffness down notable amounts the next day.

For anyone who values quality of life post injury, I highly suggest reaching out to see what she can help you with.

Annie was able to see me with short notice for fast onset of issues. She was very thorough to make sure she was diagnosing all possible issues. She took her time and was patient, not judgmental about what I was or wasn't doing for my own treatment. She used a variety of methods to help me have relief. I felt tremendously better immediately and Annie also provided super helpful home treatment ideas to keep me progressing. She was quick to follow up with me the next day to see how I was doing. Annie is an athlete who really knows what symptoms come from what exercises and she knows how to effectively address them.

I rode the Extreme O2 bike and had an awesome experience. The “workout” was easy and actually pretty fun. I felt like a champ afterwards; super clear-minded and fresh. I’d definitely do it again and loved working with Annie; she’s enthusiastic and really knows what she’s talking about.

My son has had multiple concussions which lead him to having issues with balance, vision, as well as having constant headaches, and panic attacks. After a few PT sessions with Annie his anxiety and headaches have subsided. He now has had approximately 8-10 sessions now and his balance and vision is now better as well. Annie is friendly and very dedicated to helping her clients. I highly recommend her to anyone who has had a TBI.

My wife has had vertigo before, but she was able to solve it following instructions she found online for the the Epley maneuver. But this year, she developed a new bout of vertigo, and no online treatment or maneuver seemed to help. After talking to Annie for about 2 minutes, Annie was able to diagnose what was wrong and ran her through correct maneuver to fix it. A half hour later she was completely free of vertigo, and hasn't had any new symptoms since. Annie showed us a number of different treatments that we weren't aware of. This worked out great for me, because a few weeks later, I had my first ever experience with vertigo. I followed some of the things Annie had shown us, and it was instantly fixed.

As a Physical Therapist myself, I know good care when I see it. When I sustained a mild concussion mountain biking, Annie was the first person I called. I credit her expert advice and quick treatment for the fast resolution of my post-concussion symptoms. She is up to date on the latest research and takes an active approach to addressing symptoms. There are many PT's who can treat post-concussion symptoms but, you WILL absolutely get better care seeing a PT (like Annie) who truly specializes in concussion.
