Hands of Angels have been taking care of my Dad for a little over a month now. When we started using their services Dad was bedridden and in severe back/hip pain after having sepsis. The nursing home told us that it seemed that this was going to be a longterm situation and that we should plan accordingly.

With the care from Dad's live in providers and the physical therapy plan that owner Christopher created and implemented, my father is now able to stand unassisted and is on his way to regaining his independence.

Christopher is very hands on with the supervison of the care of his clients and is very motivating and positive for even the most reluctant of individuals.

Don't give up on your family member just because they aren't making sufficient "progress" according to insurance powers that be. Give Christopher a call, have him evaluate your family member and then trust that he will follow through with his promises.

We are so grateful to Hands of Angels for working daily and diligently to get my Dad's health stronger each and every day.

When you grappling with the condition of your your loved one and the overwhelming decision of who to trust with their care, you can’t go wrong in choosing Hands of Angels! So many things set them apart from other agencies and the physical therapy offered has done amazing things for my Mom. She broke her hip in February of 2023 from there she developed sepsis throughout her body and we prepared ourselves to say goodbye. While we had help from others, we were truly blessed in finding Chris O. , owner of Hands of Angels. When it was time for her to be released from the facility, we were still shocked with everything that happened and how was she going to have any quality of life. When Mom was bedridden and Chris told me that his goal was for her to walk with a cane I thought it was impossible! Mom is 85 years old and not a very compliant patient. Chris’s confidence was infectious and I felt I could take my first deep breath in months! He set realistic goals and demonstrated such patience. My Mom is now strengthen and more mobile. Yes, she is now beginning to walk with a cane. Her caregivers, Denise & Elena, are godsends. Chris has made the impossible possible again. I cannot understate that his care and professionalism has restored hope that I will have more precious time with my Mom. I’m writing this review because I know the fear and anxiety that is present when making a decision such as this. Chris and Hands of Angels was the best decision we made and I’m forever grateful for all he has done and continues to do for my Mother.

I do not recommend Hands of Angels. My father and I met the CEO of Hands of Angels, Christopher Ongpin in October of 2023. He promised he would assess and develop a treatment plan and visit my father weekly to provide my father physical therapy to assist him with his bed bound status. I was hopeful as it appeared my father would be getting the help he needed. Unfortunately, Mr. Ongpin did not keep his promise for approximately four months and on several occasions I brought it to his attention that his word is his worth and that I needed his help. Unfortunately, it went in one ear and out the other. Therefore, it is my experience Mr. Ongpin is not a man of his word. In addition to this, he claims he has experienced caregivers. However, this is not what I experienced with my father's care. I worked with five caregivers from Mr. Ongpin and this is what I observed first hand in four months (I no longer have a caregiver from this company): The first caregiver did not excercise my father, would throw his the dirty wipes on the floor, not trash can and failed to provide him a meal. The second caregiver arrived thirty minutes late and expected to leave early. The third caregiver was an elderly woman who admitted to me she was depressed/suicidal, that my father frustrated her, that Mr
Ongpin would not leave her alone and failed to provide my father a meal. She also complained about her salary and that she did not get paid enough. The fourth caregiver said she would not change my father's diaper because it makes her vomit and she feels disgusted taking care of a male. She also said Mr. Ongpin did not pay enough for her to do it. Further, she took it upon herself to advise Mr. Ongpin dated the secretary.
The fifth caregiver was suppose to be a CNA, however, she did not know how to change my father's diaper, she told ne she had mental health issues and she appeared to be unkempt. She also informed me that Mr. Ongpin was paying her too little for her CNA status. She also had a problem with the camera in my father's room. She was extremely bothered that one existed. In addition, four out of the five caregivers said to me that they are not physical therapists and they did not feel comfortable with implementing the treatment plan provided by Mr. Ongpin. I brought all these concerns to Mr. Ongpin at the time of occurrence and he failed to address any of them. His belief of fixing the problem was to provide me with another caregiver, however, they lacked the basic necessary caregiver experience for my father's care and he accused me of having high expectations and therefore, would not provide me with a caregiver. Since when is the expectation of basic caregiving services considered high expectations? And the caregivers personal lives and state of mind should be addressed before they are provided with someone to care. Therefore, if you do decide to hire a caregiver from this company, please have a camera in your loved one's room and house. It is in the best interest and care for you to know what is going on. And if you have some experience in caregiving, you will be able to see the deficiencies. Please chose wisely.

I have worked with the Hands if Angels home care and was always very pleased with the quality of the nurses and personnel.
I am now talking with Christopher regarding him designing a physical therapy program to help me have a better quality of life. I have always found him to be straight forward about what he can do and he never gives false hope. I am so very appreciative of his knowledge and willingness to help.
I give Christopher and his staff a 5 stare rating

My mother’s 24/7 caregivers over the past couple of weeks all had great attitudes, and we were most appreciative. The owner of the business, a very nice fellow, who is also a licensed/practicing physical therapist, created a customized plan to help my mother get back on her feet again after breaking her hip. This was simply a value-added service included daily in her care — a wonderful bonus — as it took weeks for her insurance to begin sending someone out to help. As a result, Mom was able more quickly progress toward regaining mobility, with no time wasted. Thank you!

Hands of Angels Home care gives excellent customer service to their patients. They have been taking care of my dad for awhile now and their qualified care givers went above and beyond to make sure my dad was well taken care of. Chris offered physical therapy as a added bonus to help my dad become more mobile. I highly recommend this home care agency nothing but the best, whatever you need they are willing to do.
