I can wholeheartedly say that Halifax Health - Hospice Care Center provided exactly that for my mother and our family. From the moment we arrived, we were met with a level of care and support that went above and beyond.

My mother's stay at the Hospice Care Center was marked by the utmost respect and dignity. The nursing staff was truly exceptional. Their professionalism was evident in every interaction, from administering medication with precision to attentively monitoring her comfort levels. Beyond their technical skills, however, was a deep sense of empathy and understanding that made all the difference.

They didn't just attend to my mother's physical needs; they addressed her emotional and spiritual well-being as well. They took the time to listen, to offer comfort, and to create a peaceful and supportive environment. We, as a family, felt equally cared for. The nurses patiently answered our questions, provided us with updates, and offered much-needed emotional support during a very stressful and emotional period.

The entire atmosphere of the Hospice Care Center was one of tranquility and respect. It was a place where we could focus on being with my mother and cherishing our time together, knowing that she was in the best possible hands. The facility itself was clean, well-maintained, and designed to promote a sense of calm and peace.

I am eternally grateful to the entire team at Halifax Health - Hospice Care Center for their unwavering dedication and compassionate care. They truly made a difficult experience bearable and provided my mother with the dignity and comfort she deserved in her final days.

My grandmother spent the last week of her life at Halifax Health Hospice Care Center in Orange City. The entire staff was absolutely amazing. They were able to give me daily updates regarding her care even though I lived far. Every staff member I spoke with and met during her final 24 hours was compassionate, kind, and empathetic. Vicki, our nurse, was amazing. She is caring, compassionate, & kind hearted. Vicki is knowledgeable in areas of treatment methods as well as informing the family of what to expect. She called me whenever I needed an update on my Mom’s condition. Although my Mom was there just a short time before Christmas, she passed peacefully. As hard as it was to see her pass, as a family we appreciated the care & attention they gave my Mom. I recommend Halifax to everyone who has a family member in need of hospice services. My mother was only there about 24hrs. before her passing but we couldn't be more thrilled about choosing Halifax Hospice Center. The place was superb. All the staff, nurses, Dr's, and chaplain were the most caring, compassionate, warm and professional people on this earth. These people were absolute ANGELS. She was in comfort hospice care and they kept her comfortable in her last hours. There was so much dignity and love shown to my mother and we are so happy and grateful for Halifax Hospice Center and the staff.
