If you need any urine or blood testing for a fed job go anywhere else. Not understaffed, just no one moving with a purpose. There is no reason why a 5 minute urine test needs you waiting for an hour and 10 minutes.
Had to cancel one of my work appointments so it ended up costing me a hundred dollars.

I made a trip to Halifax Health Urgent Care in Ormond Beach this morning. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming. I was seen in less than 30 minutes by a nurse and then the provider. Both were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They listened to my concerns and the provider gave me instructions both written and oral to take care of ailment. I would highly recommend this facility if you are in need of medical consult and not able to get in to your doctor’s office!

Jody was outstanding. Very kind and pleasant to work with. She handled my care with excellence and professionalism. And Jay and David were also the best. Halifax is my "Go To" for any Urgent Care needs.

Went to get treated for strep throat (which can be life threatening if untreated). Was refused care because I have an insurance they don’t take. I told them I could just do self pay but I was completely refused care. For no reason. I wasn’t rude or loud, there was literally no reason to refuse me care. At the time I was refused care, they didn’t know why I had come in either because they hadn’t asked. I burst into tears as I was leaving because I was in so much pain and I was so tired and I just needed help. I used to be a registrar. I’m fairly certain it’s illegal to deny someone care when it’s medically urgent. You should really consider that, especially considering Halifax is publicly funded.

The clinic was nice and clean. Everyone was amazing. The wait was minimal and I was taken care of with genuine concern regarding on how sick I was.

This location was not focused on providing quality care. Wasted hour long round trip not once but two times to find out their xray tech was not in the office. But they failed to inform us the second time that there had been a change of schedule. We almost wonder if this was done deliberately. They could have called to let us know not to come in a second time, but the front desk attendant was too busy yawning.

NP Jody and medical assistant David were excellent! They were kind, thorough and easy to talk to! They made a painful injury as easy to deal with as is possible!
I live out of state, but if I were local, I would absolutely return to this facility! Thank you, Jody and David!
