I wish I could give it zero stars. My husband had an evening appointment on a Thursday. The NP was sweet and amazing however THE FRONT DESK WOMAN WAS A YOU KNOW WHAT! she yelled at as my husband was leaving he herd her talking badly about him! Sheās very lucky I wasnāt there present with him. She came in his exam room to yell at him about his check in paperwork not being done yet (he was trying the site was glitching and not allowing him to press continue). They need to get a grip. Definitely reporting the staff. Smh. Try Baptist medical park on airport. Theyāre insanely sweet.

The crew at Guidewell Primary Care have been amazing. Billie, the reception desk, Terrisha, and Dr Schopmeyer continue to work hand and hand with me and my son setting us up as new patients, making sure we have everything we need. I'm so grateful for their kindness, hard work, and care!

I called and made an appointment for my husband and myself him Jan 29th, me the 30th. I told them we both havenāt been in a while and would like a wellness/physical/labs(blood&urine) etc. Usually, as a new patient or if you havenāt been seen in awhile theyād want to do that anyways, right? I told them we were really worried about my husbandās throat (Been giving him issues/swollen since August.) Melissa was nice enough to call us when someone cancelled to get him in earlier (the 24th). We didnāt have to wait too long to get an appt for him being a new patient. There are so many receptionists, they clearly donāt write notes so everyone will be on the same page when you call and get a different person each time, all kinds of back and forth, and phone tag. I brought him to the appt on the 24th. The doctor saw him, they took his blood, made him urinate in a cup and leave it in the bathroom and was like thatās it. Free to go. I gave the lady behind the desk all the paperwork the doctor gave me. She says nothing and throws it all away and gives me one piece back. I even asked why did you throw that all away? Legit didnāt even ask us just tossed it in the can and said itās just all the new patient paperwork you filled out. Well okay then, but still. The one she gave us back did have something about a patient portal , but no way to sign up unless they send you a link I told them twice now I never received one and I guess Iām a liar. Why would I lie about that? I clearly care about the results Iāve called numerous times! I called Monday the 29th to see if they had his lab results and they told me the doctor would be in contact to let us know, but they had them. Nothing. I waited until Friday the 2nd. I called again and let them know no one has called us we would like the results please (again) then was told theyād put a note in the chart and theyād call in 24-48 hours, of course this was Friday. I decided to just call again today Monday the 5th and tell them how frustrated we are and this is and Iām getting the third degree like Iām lying about the times I called and one of the ladies throwing everything away etc. Also, the doctor was supposed to refer us to an ENT and there was nothing on that and they havenāt called. I had to call guidewell to ask them who the referral was sent to so we could just call and make an appt because we havenāt heard anything and still havenāt. Thatās fine tho. I found him a better one and made him an appt on my own. Iāve been nothing but nice and patient, but Iāve had it. You call and call and get no where. We will be picking up his file and going somewhere else. Both of us. There could be something really wrong with my husband and apparently no one cares. Itāll be two weeks Wednesday the 7th. I already got him an ENT appointment tomorrow (6th) that I had to go and take care of myself. I was leery after all the back and forth and called to see if my appt for the 30th was in fact a wellness and labs etc and they told me no just a check up when I told them what I wanted done, so I just canceled. Seems they just want you to keep coming back so they can make money, but canāt even get the results to your labs anyways. Iām sure itāll be a pain to get my husbandās records when we go today/tomorrow. I almost forgot to mention how uncomfortable it was sitting in the office listening to one lady be completely mean to the other one. Just clearly had the worst attitude. This was also the one that just threw the paperwork away without asking. Itās just like no one cares anymore. This is a professional setting and no one watches their mouth. Everyone can hear ya know.

Absolutely deplorable. Guidewell use to be a 5 rating but if I could give a zero rating, I would. I've been dealing with a severe migraine for more than 5 days. I called from work and spoke to the lady at the desk. She told me to come in for a shot to relieve pain. I (Kmy job and went straight to Guidewell. When I arrived, Joann Beasley, told me to take a seat. There was no one in the waiting room. (Keep in mind that Joann Beasley has always in the past has shown no compassion for the patients, so II knew pretty much how this visit was going to go. After waiting in the waiting room for about 25 minutes, she told me that I would need to make an appointment to get a shot. Even my current doctor at Guidewell told me that I could come in an at any time to get a Toradol shot. . Even in the past previous Nurse Practitioner, Eric Allen told the same; however Joann Beasley is telling me that I need to make an appointment for a Toradol shot. First available appointment is more than 3 days away at 4:50 pm? Keep in mind I had been sitting in the waiting room for almost 30 minutes. Not one patient showed up for an appointment but they could not assist. If this review is showing words not spelled correctly or misplaced punctuations, it's because I'm experiencing severe pain and blurry vision because of the severe migraine. It's the next day and the pain has increased in intensity. I'm headed to the hospital now but felt the need to leave a review. Turnover at Guidewell has been high and they don't have the same competent caring people working at the front desk like they use to. Joann Beasley at the front desk is the worst. She gave me a doctor's note to return back to work and said to me sarcastically, get better soon. I went back to work and started throwing up n the office trash can. Keep in mind that my pharmacy had submitted a request to refill my Sumatriptan Injection which would have assisted greatly with the pain but refill request was not authorized for refill.

Look elsewhere for health care. Providers are ok, but the front staffs are rude and uncaring. They made mistakes many time but would not accept their mistakes. It use to be a good place when they first open but not anymore. Im seeking healthcare somewhere else.

Low quality of care. They will order tests that both you and the healthcare "professional" agree are unnecessary. When you get hit with the bill...crickets. They will promise a phone call from an administrator that will never come. When you cannot speak to anyone over the phone (because they refuse to connect you) you may drop off a letter explaining the situation. The check in staff will not pass on that letter. When you follow up, they will tell you they have no record of such a letter (and the medical documentation to support the claims in the letter). They may apologize and tell you that certainly someone will call. Don't hold your breath. Go elsewhere until these people get their act together and learn how to operate professionally. Since that will probably never happen, given the apparent lack of accountability, you may be well advised to seek medical attention elsewhere.

During my annual wellness exam the Doctor punctured the inside of my left ear with a long pointed instrument while cleaning wax out of the ear.
The next morning I woke up with blood on my pillow and unable to hear anything.
I went back to the Guidewell office and was seen by a Nurse Practitioner. After taking a good look at my ear she was unable to do anything to correct my ear problem and was sent to an ear specialist to have the dried blood taken out of my ear.
To date I am out of pocket $40.00 for the ear specialist and $21.88 for medicine and Guidewell refuses to reimburse me for their Doctor's mistake.
When you need Primary Care don't look to Guidewell.

I can't speak on the other terrible reviews, but I have never had a negative experience with Guidewell --they are awesome! Desk personnel is friendly and the providers are just as good.
