The office staff there is horrible. I’ve been going there for about a year. Every time I’ve been there the office personnel are always rude and dismissive, as if every day is the worst day of their lives. Not what you want at a medical office. However, Kaci has always been good to me and taken care of me, so I disregard the office staff because I shouldn’t have much interaction with them. Until yesterday….. I signed in at 2:01 my appointment was at 2:00 ( my lunch break) when I signed in the lady at the first window said she needed my ID and insurance card. I had my ID but as we all know it’s a new year so I didn’t have my new card with me. I told the lady I didn’t have it but it is in my chart. She said it wasn’t in there anymore, that nothing was in my chart at all. She said she HAD to have it. I sat down and tried to look up my card online, I couldn’t find it. A lady at the second window yelled, “ If you don’t have it by 2:15 you’re getting rescheduled.” I told her I wasn’t going to reschedule I was getting my information. I asked the lady at the first desk if I have my card information from my insurance company could they put it in, she kept looking and talking to the lady at the second window… and said yes. During my time on the phone another patient signed in, she asked for his ID and insurance card. He told her he didn’t have it, and couldn’t get it… she was saying something to the woman at the second window, and told this patient it was fine and he could have a seat. I was on the phone getting my insurance information and the nurse had been coming back and forth up there but this time she stayed up there I was giving the lady at the first window my insurance information and then told me they couldn’t take my insurance information written down at the same time the nurse decided she wanted to add to this nonsense. She told me she was rescheduling my appointment because it was 2:23 she kept saying that over and over, that she had to keep her provider on a schedule. She wanted to argue and went back and forth with me about it being 2:23 and she had to keep her provider on schedule. I told her it’s not my fault it’s 2:23 I signed in at 2:01 they somehow do not have my insurance in my chart. This is a nurse, keep in mind, arguing with me, denying me care for their error, in front of the entire office of patients and employees. I have never in my entire life been treated the way this office and the nurse especially treated me. So much to the fact I just walked out. I will never ever go to this office again. I will never believe how any medical professional in any capacity could act like this. I hate it because this one office still represents the Grandview name. It’s an absolute shame one horrible office put shame on the Grandview Hospitals name.

Giving kudos to Courtney!
Courtney helped me get into the patient portal. I called and explained to her that I was was having a hard time trying to review test results. Courtney was kind, knowledgeable, caring and eager to help with my concerns. She went above and beyond to make sure all of my concerns was met. Thank you Courtney! You made my day!.

Short Dr. visit then sent to Lab for Lab work. Wait time for Lab was 1 hour and 10 minutes. That is ridiculus. Not the workers fault, only 1 lab Tech and at least 30 paitients waiting so many that a couple of people had to stand. Kudos to the one worker who was by herself, she calmly did her job, never made a mistake and everyone was called in in the order they signed in. Some who were waiting were Elderly I would guess early 80's and most had some issue wheelchair bound, walking cane, etc. This is not acceptable for a place such as Grandview to have such poor service where old folks have to wait that long.

Loved this place when Dr. Zaremba was there. Saw Dr. Robins and he wasn't all concerned about my blood pressure being 160/115. Said it was just stress and to wait to see a Cardiologist. My blood pressure has always ran low and the high blood pressure has been going on for a month. Went to another office and they took care of me and set up multiple appointments to get me squared away again. Will not be going back.

The service from the doctor that did my stitches was excellent, absolutely lovely man. HOWEVER, those front desks people did not pay any attention to detail when it came time to put my insurance information into the system. So, they ended up trying to charge me directly because my insurance information was not input correctly. I do not understand how such an error could happen when that’s literally your only job. Thumbs down, HM! That was honestly the only bad thing, not going to lie.

The woman with the mustache at the front desk is horribly rude. I'm not forcing her to work there so she needs to check her attitude

Quite possibly the worst primary care provider experience I have ever encountered. My first red flag was when I hadn’t turned in my paperwork yet for my medical history and Dr. Robbins came in and listened to hearts sounds and 1/3 lung sounds for 5 seconds while I was talking. Then Robbins asked me what I wanted. The lack of a physical assessment seems to be a common issue for him based on other reviews. He also gave me a run around on getting a prescription filled that had been filled by previous providers without hesitation. He required prior medical records from my previous provider. It’s been nearly 2 weeks without my prescription and there is always an excuse on paperwork hasn’t come yet, he needs more records, he’ll get back to me, etc. Wish he would have saved my time & just told me no from the start. My experience was so bad and unorganized that I scheduled with a complete different group of providers.

It seems like very few staff members care about the treatment and time of others. From the moment you walk in, it’s like they don’t want to be there or don’t want you in there. Just in and out. I got to my appointment at 3:27 and didn’t get to speak to my doctor till almost their closing time which is 4:30. There was a nice lady who took my measures and my data but that’s all the sincerity I received.

Go up
