This is a critical review of Sandra Munoz the Program Manager. I was a resident of Gracenter for 9 months in 2015. I was kicked out to the street by Sandra for having mental health psychosis. She did not help me find a place to transition to and told me coldly that Gracenter is not a place for mental health issues. Which is deeply problematic considering most traumatized, houseless, addicted women have mental health issues. I was houseless on the street and in shelter after being essentially evicted without notice. You would think they would just get some clinical mental health staff and be adequately prepared for their women. It was clear Sandra never liked me and played favorites. She is heavily biased with her old school type mindset to "pull yourself up from your boot straps" and "tough love".

I wouldn't recommend Gracenter to anyone with serious mental health issues who can't mask and perform neurotypicality for others. It's better than nothing but it is also harming the women it is supposed to serve. I am now working on a Master in Social Work and have worked in mental health for 10 years. I achieved that by not giving up on myself even when systems like Gracenter did. I would never treat my clients unethically like I was treated at Gracenter by Sandra.

The sisters and Francis were lovely though.
