People are trying to get an active case against this place because they kick african americans out near other facilities without paperwork or notice to the other facilities. While its not possible to find reasonable evidence to support these claims its best not to send african americans to the place until a case is opened.

Golden State Care Center really focuses on the need of those less fortunate. As a SSVF case manager, the experience with housing my participant went definitely smooth as intended. The staff there are extremely helpful and provided me with all the necessary documents to make the transition a breeze. The case managers are great. And the nursing staff are accurate and on point with everything. And from the looks of it, those who are housed there seem to be very comfortable. Definitely a job well done here.

My uncle just got out of rehab 3 weeks ago. He has been in several homeless shelters this past year while waiting for this place to open. He is so happy. The nursing staff are responsive, very kind to him, and seem genuinely concerned. Ms Geri has been exceptional. They have gone out of their way to make him comfortable and safe, and treat him with respect. The staff remember his food restrictions and preferences and are very polite. Thanks for all y’all do’

Don't be menaced while recup in South LA. Worst ghetto place ever. Black gang hole. Unprofessional personnel using swear language at regular basis and reckless behavior, they cover each other. ABUSIVE behavior to disabled and people in needs, DISCRIMINATION! All your complaints they will turn against you to find reason kick you out. They scam homeless people by charge their medical insurance and kick them out after even on next day without any resonable reason. This place must be investigated with POLICE all personnel must be FIRED and SHUT DOWN. SHAME!!!
Poor same food every day. Staff messing with your belongings while you outside, got lost items. They have extra keys from locks they give you. Security touching your stuff while they search you. Black nurse Miss Aaron act very aggressive and loud like she have mental and drug issues, all day loocking for reason make conflict with enyone on her way and then kick you out with fat black security dude, especially in morning hours when they do vitals, when no other staff present in a office. Stay away of this CRIMINALS!

I was staying in my car when I broke my femur and had to stay in the hospital, in this time the city towed my car so I needed a place to stay. The hospital set me up here, they feed you they house you and they try to meet any needs you have, I met some good people here, the staff is caring and tries to do anything you need to heal properly. They have nurses dispense your medicine. Great place and I'm grateful for Their compassion.

I was written up by a Miss Winter after having asked for my meds. She then continued to reprimand me while I was I hall waiting for them to find my meds, after she said, “she’s already off the clock.” She then made a comment about my things being outside of the gate in the neighbors yard while I waited half an hour, while I waited for my meds to be found.” She said this in the hallway loud enough for other clients to hear, and then proceeded to ask me personal questions about my meds in the walkway, again loud enough for other members to hear. I didn’t say anything disrespectful, however my tone matched her rude tone. I will not be back once my “care” here is finished, just because she makes me feel unsafe and personally attacked with her hypocrisy and negative tone.

My brother is currently in this place and they don't want to work to help him. He came very sick from Texas needing medical help and help getting his life together. They are sending him to a shelter and he's on dialysis and very weak.
