I was so comfortable with Dr. H from the moment I met him. I have been to many Ortho doctors in the past and for the 1st time, I have completely felt that I could trust his advice. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Five stars from me and I wholly recommend anyone who has an orthopedic issue to see Dr. Heywood .

Dr. Mensch has treated my wrists. Two different falls. The first fall resulted in two surgeries. He did the second one. Wow what a difference. The X-rays showed a precise repair. His assistants are kind and helpful. The surgery center is updated.

My experience was extremely professional and pleasant.
After my ER visit with a broken leg on Friday 3/17/24,Dr Heywood and his team were able to get me in for a post op on Monday 3/19/24 and surgery all lined up and ready to go the next day at Dominican Hospital.
Everything went very well and I am on my why to recovery!!

Dr Heywood has done two major surgeries on me. One a knee repair. And the second a total wrist rebuild including a plate. Both were successful and the results exactly as he described beforehand. The wrist has been especially wonderful. It works as good as new. The wrist has been in constant use for about five years now. My hobby is antique autos so it has gotten a descent workout occasionally.
I am still using Dr Heywood’s services. He is monitoring several other joints and treating them with injections as I am currently not a good candidate for joint replacement due to other health issues.
