Me and my wife have been patient's for around 20(yes 20)years from crowns to cleanings we have had absolutely the best service and care. I went today and it spurred me to finally write a review, which I rarely do(obviously, 20 years really) but in all my experiences with service/care they are the standard. Thank you Doctor and staff(of which 90% we see) for all you do and have already done!

I’ve been a patient here for a while, but my recent experience has been really frustrating. Every time I call, it feels like they don’t have me in their system, which is a bit concerning. During my last visit for a routine cleaning, I was asked to fill out paperwork I’ve already filled out many times before. While I understand the need for updates, it felt like unnecessary repetition.

The bigger issue was when I was asked to fill out a form about missed appointments and payments. I’ve always paid on time and have never missed an appointment, so I didn’t think it was necessary. When I refused, they told me they wouldn’t proceed with the cleaning. I left without getting my teeth cleaned, which was really disappointing.

Overall, I’m really let down by the lack of organization and flexibility. I won’t be coming back and will be looking for a new dentist.

It is sad that this has come to this. The dentist and her hygenists historically were seemingly wonderful however Dr. McMahon did a horrible job on sizing my crown and negatively impacted two teeth in front of it. Her admin staff routinely gave me false information. In the days leading up to my final visit there I received five calls from admin staff regarding whether or not they still were a part of my plan. When they called me, less than 24 hours prior to my cleaning appointment, to tell me that they weren't, I told them that I would pay cash and they advised me that there was a 10% discount for doing so. After my cleaning, while checking out, I was told that it was 5%. When I calmly told her that I was told differently, she told me that wasn't the case. I made it a point to be calm and to ask why they weren't being accountable for what they told me. She became agitated. After agreeing to apply the discount I was told, she told me a dollar amount much higher than I was told previously. Shocked by this, I asked what was different and that is when I was told about a cancellation fee from the previous week. At no point in the previous five calls had anyone said anything about that. Later I found out that I was labeled as aggressive and refusing to pay, none of which were the case. Since that time the doctor told me I was no longer welcome there and has refused to send me all of my records. If anyone chooses to go here be prepared for their admin staff to not honor what they've told you.

Had the best experience there with Dr. Allen and his team of front office and hygienists. They were on top of everything, and very punctual with me which I appreciate a lot with my busy schedule. Highly recommend this office!

I rated this office 3 years ago 5 stars (I think on yelp) when Dr Pam met me at 9pm and pulled a severely infected tooth for me & was 10/10 on her bedside manner (I still love Dr Pam & all she did to help me get out of pain) but after the way I was spoke to just now like I was a child for asking about the cost of a root canal ( I looked on the website to see & which of course it does state root canal therapy in services offered) to be told ‘we don’t do that you have the wrong office’ and proceed to tell me the address and name like I have no idea who I called or looked up. I informed them that was odd bc i literally just looked at services on the website and hit call off the number & was again talked to me like an adolescent child ‘we don’t do that we send them out it doesn’t say that on our website ’ with an attitude.. I will not be returning or reaching out again no matter how much I love Dr Pam & her bed side manor the front office/who answers your phones is a first impression & that lady should not be allowed on the phones with how she speaks to people.

Even if they do in-fact send people out for root canals (I even attached the screenshot I pulled directly from the website & highlighted where she told me I was calling the wrong office bc it ‘does not say that on their website’) she could have offered for me to come in and talk with the Dr and get sent out for the root canal (as I desperate need it at this moment).

It is sad to say but in today's world when you walk into a medical facility you often don't know what kind of care you will receive. I have been a patient at two other dentists in Gold Canyon and have finally found an exceptional, excellent, trustworthy Doctor. The minute you walk into Gold Canyon Dentistry, it is all about you. From the front desk to departure the staff is wonderful. I have not had a dental exam as thorough as I was given in over 13 years. I was in the medical field for 45 yrs. so I was delighted when I witnessed everything being cleaned and real hand washing going on. Dr. McMahon repaired a front tooth that I was unhappy with and gave me something to smile about. I really can't say enough good things about her. I'm very grateful I found this office.

I have been going here for several years and they are hand's down the best dentist office. We have our own dentist through the union but I only go to gold canyon dentistry! Highly recommended.

Fantastic dentistry! Dr. Pamela A. McMahon was very upfront about my options for an infected root canal and spelt out my options with clarity. And Ande Badge was fantastic when she did my cleaning as she did a fantastic job and she is a good singer as well! 😉 Great people. I'll be back.
