They never remember to turn their phones back on from answering service. They apparently turn their phones over to an emergency answering service when they go to lunch but then never turn the phone back on. The doctors here are good at their job, but the front desk drops the ball all the time. I can't get the emergency answering service to contact them about their phones either. They said it's not an emergency that my pharmacy can't get ahold of them for questions regarding my meds. So I can't get them filled until they turn the phones on or remember to contact my pharmacy for me.

Nobody responds to my emails.
I may not be the perfect patient, but every patient deserves to be responded to and spoken to if possible regarding concerns, or questions they have. There is no doctor here, BTW. Usually the PAs are really good but again no response. Very disappointed after being with Dr. Castiel’s office for 14 years? Maybe longer…
I can probably count on two hands the amount of times I actually met with my actual doctor.
He decided to scale back slightly by charging you $2000 if you wanted to stay with him as your Dr. You could find another doctor or continue to meet with the PA at this location. Again, I’ve always been happy with the PAs but nobody has responded to my request to be contacted.

The office staff is so knowledgeable and personable, and Dr. Castiel is top notch! I drive all the way from St. Augustine to see him and he always delivers the best care, with the personality and sense of humor to match!

I have been a patient at Global Family Care for many years. I have always received the highest quality of service. To explain further, the office personnel was always very helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable. They were very informative and always followed up with me. They always tried to accommodate me with what I needed whether it be a last minute appointment, a referral, insurance issues, pharmacy issues and such. As a patient, I always felt I would get the best care.

Dr. Alberto Castiel is my doctor and he is awesome. First, he is so pleasant. Second, you have his full attention when discussing your problem. Third, after discussion, he thoroughly explains to you what he has assessed and makes sure you understand, then he gives you the best course of action. He is compassionate and gives his patients an assurance that he is going to give you the very best care he can. This is what I want in a doctor, to have my best interest at heart. Dr. Castiel and his staff are awesome.
