Glengariff Rehabilitation is located in a quiet place on Glen Cove. First time coming here was a bit confusing, we didn’t know the place has two separate buildings with two separate lobbies and we ended up asking for direction to the correct building where my grandmother was.
We came on a Sunday and while the staff were helpful and courteous, they lacked nurses and aides. I’m not sure it’s because it was a Sunday but it was extremely hard to get hold of a staff to ask for basic needs. A lot of elderly here were probably trying to get some help from the aides or nurses to no avail.
I hope there are more staff on call during weekdays.
Place is clean and have some parking available for visitors. The main lobby is extremely nice and well decorated, they have a large lounge for guests to relax and they also served Starbucks Coffee with a machine. The check in is also fairly easy, they have a little tablet to input your name and prints out your visitor pass.
I would like to thank all the staff here trying to accommodate all the elderly to their comfort care, I know it’s not easy but doing their part to comfort their care and help aiding their basic everyday needs brings comfort to the families heart. ❤️

Our mom unexpectedly had a very rough February and spent most of the month in the hospital. She was very frail when she was discharged and we decided to bring her here based on reviews and the fact they had inpatient dialysis. Well I just want to say WOW! The care she has been receiving has been nothing less than outstanding. She loves the people, PT, the dialysis staff, and is even raving about the food. This has been a priceless gift that our whole family is beyond grateful for. Thank you Glengariff Staff-- for taking such great care of our mom.

Absolutely fabulous. There is work being done on New Woods Road, so Google maps of couse sends us through new woods road. I called and spoke to the front desk agent. She was fabulous, she simply said the entrance is across from the Mansion of Glen Clove. Been there many times. So simple. Drove up parked in the circle and walked in. Checked in with a few laughs with the front desk and off i went with instructions. The room where my family member was staying was very easy to find. I needed to go to the lounge, and instead of getting directions to where the loo was, i was brought to it. Fabulous. I brought my aunt rice pudding and asked one of the staff to put the rest in the refrigerator and they were happy to do so. My aunt is happy there.

I cannot thank the team at Glengariff Care Center enough for the exceptional care they provided to my aunt after her hip surgery. From the moment she arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable and supported throughout her recovery.

A special shout-out to the management team for their attentiveness and professionalism. They ensured everything ran smoothly and addressed all our questions with care and compassion. It’s clear that they genuinely prioritize the well-being of their residents.

The facility was always clean and welcoming, and the staff’s kindness and expertise made a challenging time so much easier for our family. I wholeheartedly recommend Glengariff Care Center to anyone in need of excellent care for their loved ones.

There are no words to express our gratitude to the entire staff at Glengariff. My mom was cared for by true angels. The level of care was extraordinary. Every day when I said good night to my mom, I never worried because I knew she would be cared for with the highest standard of professionalism, compassion and respect. Myself and my family were shown that same kindness and compassion. I know she was given the best care possible, and that has given us great comfort. May God bless each and everyone at Glengariff .

My 86 year old mother had two falls in a short period of time and also suffers from Parkinson’s disease. She spent about 3 months at the Glengariff.
The facility is well run, extremely clean, and welcoming. The PT and OT department were excellent, motivating and friendly. The first floor nursing staff especially Ms Marsh, Rita, Carmen and Marianne went above and beyond for my mother and our family. The concierge especially Shua were so responsive and professional. If there were any issues, they did their best to resolve them promptly and had great communication with our family. Val our social work was excellent and worked tirelessly when it came time for my mother to move to a permanent facility. The recreation staff was kind and inclusive.
While no where is perfect and there were staffing issues at times (like most health care facilities) the staff worked their best to remedy the situation. I am grateful for all they did for my mother and our family

Glengariff provided a good experience for Mom. The facility is clean and the service and support better than most. Shout out to Tiffany as one of our favorite nurses. The PT staff was enthusiastic and pleasant. Our thanks to Shua, as the concierge, he was always available and able to help with many questions and issues.

My Dad was in Glengariff to rehab after a hospital stay. The facility is gorgeous & spotless. The nursing staff is caring and Allen from PT did an outstanding job getting my Dad walking again. My mom Pepie was very pleased with how my Dad was treated. Everyone went above and beyond to accommodate us. Even the management was approachable and responsive to my family's needs. My Dad is charming but very demanding and everyone who interacted with him had a smile. The daily programs are really fun & there is a huge effort to get everyone there. Singing American Pie during karaoke was a highlight of my Dads stay. God Bless America.
