Called at 8 am, was seen at 8:20. Can’t beat that. I have seen every dr that works here and they can usually see you same day if flexible.

Been a patient of Gill Family Medicine for over 10 years. I usually see Gwendolyn Adams, PA-C.

I've never had to wait more than a few days to get an appointment and I often get them same day, if needed.

Gwendolyn is the best provider I've ever had. She is compassionate, laid-back, thorough, conscientious of my needs, non-judgmental, just an amazing person! My entire family loves her.

The details you know. But in case you don't, Your office discharged me at my worst. With no explanation in a certified letter. That is not very professional and is very bad for a doctor to do to a patient who is at their worst.

Update Feb 2025.

I live in another state now, and when I left my husband, also a patient here at that time, I asked my doctor, a Nurse Practitioner, and 2 nurses, as well as wrote through the portal once and called reception once asking, "Can you please refer me to a therapist who helps people who've been abused in their relationship?"

It was 2021-2022, and they either never answered, replied, or they said, right now, nobody is here who does that. 1 person said that, an honest NP in another town.

I don't know what happened there, but Last Week, I had a PTSD reaction where, having had no help from the medical community at this location regarding this for whatever reason, 3 years later, I have alienated my entire network of people in my life. Why didn't I get proper treatment? I will never know but maybe somebody else does.

Beware of this medical facility.

I see Dr. McQueen normally and have found him to be very thorough and a compassionate physician. All the staff at Gill Family Medicine are fantastic. I have been going for many years and have NEVER had a bad experience with any of the staff. I would highly recommend the group of doctors, nurses, and complete office support staff.

I was so impressed with Gill Family Medicine. The staff was very kind and courteous to me. They were very efficient and I didn't have a long wait at all. Dr. Gill is a fantastic doctor and he really takes his time to care for his patients. I felt very well taken care of and the staff continued to check on me after my visit. I couldn't recommend this place more, it is the best in Decatur for sure!
