GetzWell Pediatrics has been with us every step so far in bringing up our first child. Just had our first visit since switching over from UCSF. The office is inviting and the staff are friendly. Our baby is pretty easy going but would get so stressed out the moment the doctors would enter the rooms and quickly begin poking and prodding. At Getzwell their approach is more relaxed, and they really take their time engaging with your children. My child, although a bit apprehensive at times, was way more at easy with the care we received from Alexa. I’m so grateful for learning about this practice. It’s exactly what our family needed and I look forward to the personalized care that’s to come.

We are very happy with the care, attention, and quality of interaction from Alexa and Dr Glynn. We are often the only family at the office at a time, the appointments never feel rushed, and I don’t feel silly for any questions that I ask. They also do home visits for newborn care which is amazing. Highly recommend this practice!!

Dr Getzelman is extraordinary. She blends the most solid science based integrative medicine with a level of thought & research you will experience no where else. She is totally cutting edge—using genetic testing to learn what’s at the roots of your child’s medical, or behavioral issues. While other doctors misdiagnosed our children multiple times & threw the wrong meds at our children, Dr G dug deeper & used supplements as well as diet—which has saved my son’s life. She goes above and beyond & overtime when we’ve been in crisis. She listens, she’s empathetic but finally she’s on the cutting edge of all the latest research & she thinks outside the box. She’s the one who will find an answer for you if other docs have failed you. She’s a total rock star.

Very organized practice. Smart, knowledgeable and well trained staff. Dr. Julia Getzelman is incredible. In a world where many are happy with the status quo, Dr. Getzelman is asking questions and trying to find the real solutions, not just another pill and incorrect diagnosis. My children have several health concerns from Type 1 Diabetes, Hashimotos and attention and focus issues. There are so many reasons a child might have attention issues, starting at not enough sleep. Dr. Getzelman spends one hour focused on you and your child, getting the full history, instead of just rushing you in and out. Her bed side manner is q 10 out of 10. Down to earth, funny, empathetic and patient. Dr. G is looking for real answers and takes ownership and works daily to make my job as a mother more productive and doable. Being a mother of children with special health concerns can be so overwhelming. Dr. Getzleman and her staff are very kind, empathetic and do all they can to help. It is easy to get a hold of them too and that is key. We highly recommend this practice and quite literall thank God we found Doctor Getzelman.
