Dr Patel was great , she was very informative and actually cared and listen to what I had to say . On a side note the place that performed my procedure was awful ! The staff that is supposed to to call and give you information and time arrivals etc did not do there job, lied to my face about it , lied to the Doctor doing the procedure about it . If I knew this woman’s name I’d make sure it would be on this review , because this is not the first time she failed to do her job . I had to reschedule twice solely because of this woman . The rest of the staff and Doctors were great .

I recently moved to Florida from NY and needed to find a Gastro doctor as I have Barrett’s Syndrome and other related and complicated issues. Leaving my specialist in NY, who I’ve been a patient for years, and going to a new specialist who doesn’t know my history made me extremely nervous. On my initial appointment I brought my most recent test results and notes which I printed from my electronic chart and gave them to Dr. Patel. I was pleasantly surprised that she took the time to look at them before bombarding me with questions about my history. There is nothing worse than to have a doctor walk in and the first thing that they say is “so what brings you here”, and you have to dictate your history, yet your records were sent prior to your appointment! Dr. Patel was grateful I had brought my records and said she would read them more thoroughly later. Long story short, I appreciated the time she took to review my records and then develop a plan with me on next steps.

I choose Dr Lu because he preformed my husband's colonoscopy, and he was wonderful. He was very caring and described everything in great detail. He gave us time to formulate our questions and was very personable. When I went for my precolonoscopy appointment, he was careful to adjust the prep for my health needs. I'm (almost) looking forward to my.procedure.

Went for follow up after egd and colonoscopy. I was told a different story from the MD who spoke to me after procedure. He said I had a small hemorrhoid internal. She States they are large and wants to band them. Told me I had other things dr never mentioned. I was not impressed.
