The young lady who worked behind the counter when I came in went above and beyond to find what I needed (I needed a very specific part for my nebulizer, I couldn't find anywhere: the medication cup - usually not even sold by itself but as part of the whole mask and tubing..), but as I said, I didn't get her name but she was so nice, even tho it was closing time, I had a very specific method of payment and she accommodated the whole way til the end and smiled, never lost patience or made a face, and I really appreciated that genuine empathy and help,because as COPD patient, whose only comfort sometimes are breathing treatments (thru a nebulizer), which opens the airways and lets us breathe again: nothing is more frightening than not getting air, not being able to breathe and all the wild thoughts in the head.,. So by being able to replace my broken nebulizer part, my anxiety went away, I could continue getting my treatments and finally breathe! Thanks to this young lady, I will be in again, I thank u from the bottom of my heart for all u did for me this day - u couldn't even know but u seriously made my day. Thank you!!!!

They have the friendliest people working there, who are always willing to help you find what you need. You can get your flu vaccine, prescriptions and breakfast, or lunch all in one place.

Be sure to come with an appetite and check out the garden cafe next door.
The cafe has delicious comfort food and friendly staff.

Another great breakfast at the garden restaurant. I had scrambled eggs with cheese, grilled tomatoes, a slice of ham with an English muffin. Yummy breakfast

I have not been to Garden Drugs in years because of the Pandemic and I believe in supporting local businesses.
However, after my last encounter today with Maria, I will spend my money else where.
The sad part is the owner is a super nice person who I have always enjoyed speaking with and has been more then helpful on countless occasions as well as the the other staff members.
I recall now after all this time, the unpleasantness of Maria.
Maria has always been rude and just plain nasty! She does not has the disposition to be engaging with the public.
As I write this review to warn anyone from having to deal with her, I recall several other "run - in's" with her. Even the former staff has said, "it's best not to say anything to her".
When Maria does not like what one has to say, she hangs up the phone. Maria has the poorest customer service skills in all of Broward county. I simply cannot think why one would keep such a individual on staff. Needless to say, it is none of my business but if she went to work for some other entity, they would have terminated her quickly. I thought she would have grown up over the years but unfortunately, when you feed a monster, the end result is a beast.
I suggest turning around and going elsewhere should you have to deal with her.
Again, the owner and the other staff members are super nice people but it take only one bad seed and this seed is poison.

Best of luck to the staff and anyone else that has to interact with this individual.

Lastly, I walked the prescription into the store on Wednesday afternoon and was told someone would get back to me with pricing, no one did. I had to call twice and the best part is, I was told on Thursday at 2:05pm the price and time frame for when the medication would be available, which was today Monday the 24th and it was not even ordered as of today.
If Maria was truly on top of the ordering, a phone call would have been made to me regarding pricing and delivery once the information was reported back. The customer should not have had to call a total of 4 times. Two In Thursday and twice today.

This really is a FAMILY run pharmacy. They get to their clients, take the time to answer questions, and contribute to those less fortunate in our community with low/no cost medications. I’ve gone here for over a year and have had some significant health issues, and they simply make life easier so I don’t have to worry about my prescriptions. 5/5!
