This is the first full spectrum patient centered experience I’ve ever had with a primary, and the monthly membership system is brilliant. I recently had to drive myself in very sick because I’m a single mom with no family nearby. It was so hard, but my caregiver that day, Yvette, came to the car in her PPE to test me and offer me treatment options without me even having to leave the car! She was so kind, but also fast and efficient so I could go back to bed quickly. No waiting in lines hoping the drugstore had my script ready-Yvette handed it to me in just minutes after my diagnosis. I am so thankful to have found them.

I loved this physician business model. I encourage anyone tired of sitting and waiting past your appt. times at other clinics to try this option. The care and attention never faltered and the convenience this practice and physicians offer are second to none.

I can’t say enough how much I appreciate this practice and all of the staff. Everyone is kind & caring, they respect your time and treat you like a human being, not just another patient bringing money to the business. I have interacted with every customer facing level of staff and this is consistent from the time you walk in until you leave. Dr. Tyndall-Smith is absolutely wonderful. You can tell she has a passion for people/medicine and truly cares for your well being. I am so grateful for their services and would highly recommend their office to anyone. Thank you GDPC! ❤️

My family and I love direct, primary care, physicians! Not only is it very affordable, they also have the friendliest staff and doctors. Dr. Tyndall-Smith takes the time with each family member and actually talks with you, not at you. Her time is valuable, but makes you feel like you are the most valuable use of her time. Everyone who works there is caring and considerate. I love being greeted by Yvette or Nicola as I walk in, they are kind, well informed, and greet you by name as if they have known you for a long time. 5 STARS!

Joining Gainesville Direct Primary Care has been the best healthcare decision for our family. Their team is truly dedicated to excellent patient care. As a family of 6, we need to be seen often! Dr. Tyndall-Smith is quick to respond via call, text or email - always the same day and within the hour! She has seen us and fielded questions even on weekends and holidays. They allow plenty of time for each visit and we never feel rushed. The nurses and Dr. Emery are fabulous as well. We feel known and compassionately cared for by the whole staff. The on-site pharmacy is a huge plus as well - the medicines are less expensive and there is no waiting for your medicine. We can’t recommend Gainesville DPC enough!

I heard about the direct primary care model of medicine from news reports. The concept of quality unrushed medical care with super discounted prescriptions made sense to me. I joined Gainesville Direct Primary Care Physicians and did not need them in the first year. I had a serious injury two months ago and I was very happy I had them as my care provider. I had to go almost every day for wound care. Everyone their spent as much time as necessary and did their best to make me well again, including my overall health. The old model of making an appointment, sitting in the waiting room for 30 to 60 minutes to go to an exam room, having a staff member spend 5 to 10 min. with you, waiting some more for the doctor to spend 5 min. with you, then having to go to a pharmacy if they prescribed a medication, it is different at GDPC. The doctor is usually waiting for you at your appointment time. Most tests are completed by the doctor right then in the office. They care about you overall health and not just what you went there for. Most of my visits were 30 to 60 min.. When my doctor was not available, one of the other doctors in the practice spent the quality time treating my wound as well as the nurse on staff. Without there care I would have ended up with a hospital stay. Most of the common prescriptions are filled before you leave, unlike the chain pharmacy that has taken two weeks to fill a prescription. Dr. Cotter, my doctor, is a kind caring physician as well as the other Doctors and staff in the practice. When I had a cut on my finger needing stitches, they had me come in immediately and they treated me right there and then, saving me a trip to an urgent care center. This is how medical care should be!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this office. My husband and I both are patients here and we can not say enough about how satisfied we are with our care. Caring, kind, compassionate physicians who spend the time listening to you and what is best for your health. Getting appointments are easy and we've never had to wait weeks and weeks. You always have access to your doctor- it's just that simple. It takes so much guest work out of what your care is going to look like. I highly recommend joining. You will not be disappointed.
