Doctors are great. Staff not so much. They had great great granny’s and younger people assisting with recovery. The granny’s are way way beyond helping much. They created more chaos than assistance. I would NEVER have these people do this. Then there were the patients. I had two patients in adjacent rooms next to me that were screaming at the top of their lungs for hours. You couldn’t sleep. The beds naturally are awful nothing new there. I was there for six days and was very happy to leave. And the food was absolutely abysmal. That’s my take.

My daughter was here for over 6 hours in ER being ignore...kept asking why are we not being help since we are no longer a priority we can wait over 8 hours....not even water offered......then there was the older lady across the hall also being ignored.....I had to get a phlebotomist to help her because her nurse was no where to be found. And, she was having breathing problems. Mind you the old lady had already asked for help but none had arrived.....

Nice to know there's still people out there that are patience compassionate and caring and they genuinely cared and positive people...and they were so kind to me....it's so busy there too....didn't have a room for me and was in the hallway on the hospital bed but never once treated me less than human...it's actually restored my faith in humanity

My daughter hot hit by a car walking home from school. Took her to get checked out in emergancy. When got seen by doctor all he did was tell her to stand grabedher arm and said she fine just brused. Refused to give her an x-ray and made us leave. The rudest I have ever been treated.

Wow where do I begin. I was victim to a medical emergency while I was at my office. I immediately drove myself to the closest hospital. I was suffering from chest pains and did not feel well. I immediately decided I better see a doctor. The closest hospital was Fresno Community Hospital. I was not too happy about going there originally as my mother had passed away in that hospital which was so devastating. It was during the Covid time so we were not allowed to visit. I was notified 3 hours before my mom’s passing that only 2 family members would be allowed to be there for my mom taking her last breath. That broke my heart but I was one of them. I visited the hospital with the feeling of being empty because I knew I was going to say goodbye to my queen. That day I lost my heart and had ill feelings towards the employees and hospital because I had not been allowed to see my mom or speak her the days before she passed. I could not even breathe hope in her. I carried a long resentment to this hospital thinking that their employees did not care about patients and their families. I believed that every patient was a number to them. I know now I was wrong. These past 4 days I had the pleasure of being admitted into this hospital to experience being a patient. The first day I got there the hospital waiting room was beyond filled. Even though it was filled like this the front officers and receiving staff were very polite and made sure everyone got checked in quickly. There were more patients than could really fit in that building but no one was refused treatment. Once admitted I spent hours and hours watching what seemed like a movie to me play out. There were so many patients. They were literally lined up beds on the wall. No one was rejected treatment. I watched the workers treat every single person no matter their manner, culture or race be treated with respect and care. What an experience! I watched a gang member that was dropped off at the emergency room be rushed in as I watched the workers work quickly to fight for his life. I watched a patient screaming at the top of her lungs cussing the workers out. I watched a patient come in that had been stabbed. I watched an elderly man come that was throwing up every few minutes. I listened as a man came in that was there with officers saying many violent things to them These are just a few examples of what I witnessed. Let me tell you about the staff! They never folded. Not even one of them. Every single employee that was there never had a bad attitude. I watched them work as a team effectively. They never spoke rude to anyone, never treated anyone differently because of their payment for service, their race, their beliefs or their backgrounds. They never looked tired to make sure every single person was treated. Everyone’s life really meant a lot to them. As far as my treatment I was treated very well and I was so shocked by the fact they would not let me go until they knew my health was not a danger if left. I had so many doctors visit me making sure I understood everything test I received and why. They never stopped testing me until they knew I was safe to go home even though they really had no space for me. This hospital brings peace to my heart. They are a true example of what it takes to save lives. This organization to process the volume of patients they do impresses me. I do not have not even 1 negative thing to say because this hospital is built for our community built to cure the sick. I have so much peace now knowing my moms last days were here at this hospital. I know she was taken care of. I know she was treated humanely. God bless your efforts. Thank you for your tireless work of taking care of the sick. This hospital should be the example to other hospitals how they need to run.
Sincerely
C.Preciado

Understaffed, overflowing ER of questionable cleanliness. Having grown up on Iowa farms I am appalled, there is not a veterinarian in the Midwest who would treat livestock the way people are treated here.

I have no idea how long it takes to form a 3/4 inch dust bunny stalactite over a patient's bed, but if I were to guess I'd say the ER has not been thoroughly cleaned this decade.

I would like to make a shout out to Suzana from housekeeping on the 10th floor Neoro ICU...thank you for going above and beyond..making sure things were good and clean and without having to ask she brought us chairs while visiting our loved one. She had a polite and professional attitude. Thank You Suzana what you do is appreciated 💯...for Suzana I give 4 stars..as for.care staff today seems to be not in a good mood!! They also cleaned up our loved one and just left stuff all over the place!! They seem to have attitudes and really aren't interested when asked to do something for the patient!!
