Dr. Frank Rodriguez is the best of the best and is my doctor and has been for 6 years now. I believe in him and trust him and he has helped me through the lung cancer after my surgery and will continue to be my doctor. I am able to do everything and live a healthy life now and hopefully continue to stay well.

I have to also commend all the fine people that work at the Cancer Specialist that treat every patient will great care and love and always have smiles and complete understanding and I believe that is also because of Doctor Rodriguez and the way he treats everyone.

My first visit. I was told to arrive at 10:15am, which I did but I did not get called to see Dr Rodriguez until about 11:20.
I had done all the paperwork from their website ahead of time. They asked me to arrive 30 minutes early in order to do this extensive paperwork. I was asked to print and do it prior to arrival. I had completed it as requested.
It is very frustrating to arrive "on time" only to find out I was in fact, 30 minutes early. Informing the patient that if they have done the paperwork ahead of time there is no reason for the "early arrival in order to fill out paperwork" would be very much appreciated. I will question the reason for the "arrival time" before my next visit.
Dr. Rodriquez was running about 30 minutes behind which is not unreasonable in my opinion. In talking to a few of the many waiting to be seen by a provider, I was told "Dr Rodriquez is worth waiting for". I'd say they were correct.
He relayed information to me in a way that was very easy to understand, gave me the opportunity to ask questions, listened to me all through the encounter, reassured me regarding my diagnosis, reviewed what we had discussed at the end and again gave me the opportunity to ask questions.
The "4" rating is because of the "office management" failure to communicate correct arrival time if paperwork done ahead of time. Dr. Rodriquez is a "5".
