Dr. Gonzalez has truly led my husband's and my path towards a healthy future. We have seen amazing results from the Neo treatments and it's the perfect partner to a weight loss regimen. I was referred to Dr Gonzalez and Fort Myers DPC several months ago for hormone replacement therapy (HRT) and chose to try BioTe treatments. I had tried BioTe in the past with a different doctor and stopped treatment for several months because I knew my hormone levels were not correct and when I brought it up I felt I was being dismissed by the doctor. Dr Gonzalez spent over an hour with me discussing different HRT options and encouraged me to give BioTe another go and I am so glad she did. I was experiencing headaches, moodiness, lack of energy and constant hot flashes. A few months later and my misery is gone! I have so much more energy, sleeping thru the night, easier to live with I’m sure and those miserable hot flashes are a thing of the past! After having such a great experience with BioTe treatment, I decided to try the Emsculpt Neo offered at Fort Myers DPC. This treatment burns belly fat and sculpts the abdominal muscles at the same time. I was impressed when Dr Gonzalez told me she likes the treatment more for the health aspect of it since it also burns fat that surrounds the internal organs. After the 6 weeks of treatment I am absolutely amazed at the results! It might not give you a 6 pack but I’ve gone down one size in pants, walk better, feel stronger and I should continue to see changes for 90 days after the last treatment. I feel heard by Dr. Lima - he takes the time to get to know the patient and their needs, and seeks to treat the whole patient, not just the symptom of the day. My wife Mae (24) and I (26) are newlyweds and recently moved to Fort Myers. We were looking for a primary care physician that could continue my check-ups every three months and renew prescriptions for me on a monthly basis. As newlyweds we also needed someone to help us find the type of birth control that would be right for us.

After having a friend tell me they had to wait three months just to get a new patient appointment with the local hospital/physician group, I knew there had to be a better way. Also, I’m a self-employed CPA and use a Health-share program rather than health insurance. Before moving to Florida, I would spend roughly $100 every 3 months for a check-up to get my prescriptions for the next three months renewed and another $30 per month for the prescription itself (with no insurance). I did NOT want to wait 3 months to go to a hospital, be charged an arm and a leg for a quick 15-minute check-up, and for my wife and me to have to see two different doctors on two different days.

I had done research on Direct Primary Care before and decided to do a quick Google search for providers in the area. I came across Fort Myers DPC and really liked what I saw. After a searching a little more it became clear that we were going to go with Fort Myers DPC.

We signed up as new patients on the website and chose Dr. Nadezhda Gonzalez as our physician, and let me tell you how glad we are that we did!

We enrolled as new patients on a Thursday, Dr. Nadezhda Gonzalez called me the next day and my wife and I went to see her in her office the following Monday. I cannot tell you how great our experience was.

Dr. Nadezhda Gonzalez is SO nice, caring, professional, and amazing. No part of the visit ever felt rushed and my wife and I both left feeling cared for, listened to, and educated. The prescription that normally would’ve taken months for me to get renewed took me 4 days and Dr. Nadezhda Gonzalez was able to explain the pros and cons of different forms of birth control to my wife like no one else could so she could make an informed decision.

There have been many occasions after that where we text Dr. Gonzalez any time during the day and she is so quick to respond. For instance, last night while going to the pharmacy, I realized I had given Dr. Gonzalez the wrong address and the pharmacy the prescription was sent to wasn’t taking any new patients due to a shortage. I have a feeling that if we would’ve gone through the local hospital/physician group, it would’ve taken another few days or weeks to get everything fixed; but with Dr. Gonzalez, I texted her at 6:45 PM letting her know the problem and she was able to fix everything and transfer the prescription to the right pharmacy in less than 30 minutes so I could have it filled that same night.

I’m telling you folks, doesn’t matter who you are, whether you have health insurance, no health insurance, or are using a Health-share program, Fort Myers DPC is the place for you. We’ve been in to see Dr. Gonzalez three times in the past few weeks and always leave feeling SO glad and lucky we decided to choose her as our Primary Care physician.

Last thing I’ll say, my father is a Pediatric Radiologist in North Carolina and I grew up feeling like I was always being taken care of by family the few times I had to go to the hospital or outpatient facility as a kid. I feel the exact same way every time my wife and I go see Dr. Gonzalez or send her a text.

TL;DR: Fort Myers DPC and Dr. Nadezhda Gonzalez are the best. You should go see them 🙂

I have been an RN for 20 years and have worked in several clinics. The DPC model is different than any other experience that I have had as a patient and a nurse. Dr Gonzalez is kind, patient, thorough, and knowledgeable. She was able to spend more time with me then any other doctor I have been to. She answers questions and explains things fully. I told her a symptom that I have that is not typical and instead of brushing me off, I could see her thinking through the mechanism and she thought it was feasible. She has called me to follow up on things, not a nurse, but Dr Gonzalez herself. I truly feel like I have a partner in my healthcare now.
I have a high deductible plan with coinsurance, so I was never sure what my portion of the bill would be... It was always a surprise. With Dr Gonzalez I know the monthly price upfront for unlimited visits. I also know what the labs will cost before they are done. I paid $2.70 for a comprehensive panel.... That's 2 dollars and 70 cents.... I've seen this billed for over $100 at places I have worked. I called to get a screening test done at a radiology center and they gave me thier best self pay price, the price that Dr Gonzalez was able to negotiate was half that price. Even though I'm paying the monthly subscription fee, labs, and radiology out of my own pocket it won't come close to my deductible. I am receiving better care for less cost.

I'm a critical care paramedic, and I can't recommend Dr. Nadia Gonzalez enough. I can't possibly goes into all the details in a short review. However this is what I've experienced so far: A two hour in person visit the first time I met with her. A physician that will research things she is not familiar with and get back to you. A physician that participates in some of the recommendations she gives you. A physician that will sometimes text you at 8 p.m. because she found a really interesting article you might be interested in. ...If you're tired of going to a primary that doesn't properly assess you or ask you questions in regards to your complaints, you should highly consider going to Dr. Nadia.
